New Photoshop Contest!
Angry_Gumball replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here's my second entry, based on FlipDude's Robby Robb comics and once again, Action 52's Bubblegum Rosie. I could swear that Bubblegum Rosie looks like the cartoon Elissa, with blonde hair. -
That was hilarious! Not because of the mocking, but just hearing Wes singing to begin with. We should do a TPR Karaoke contest one time (Not that I'd participate because I don't sing)

Download will be ready shortly...aiming for the weekend. I posted a few new screens here. Not many new screens but there's been some cosmetic updates and a technical fix...(Anyone observant may know already...if not, I'll say anyway) Not realizing/paying attention, the trains are actually supposed to have 6 cars and I left it at 5 by accident. Luckily, I didn't have to change any track for the change of cars on the train.

There's actually a "Double Down" hill by my house and if you hit it at the right speed, you'll get the tingles in your stomach. Everyday, also, there's an intersection I cross where the cross street's kind of a hump so if the light's green and you go through, ejector airtime. Red lights are like trim brakes as you end up going slow over it when it turns green.

When I saw the massive neutering of SFMW's V2, I was thinking and saying "Oh no...they ruined it! They may as well take it out...It looks ugly" and when seeing it in person and operating, I thought "Just as I thought...ruined ride...stupid locals" but decided to give it a whirl anyway. I actually happened to enjoy it more as everyone goes through the spiral and if you choose the right seats, you stall upside down, sideways, sideways again, or right-side-up. I just wish the launch was a tad more intense and something done with the straightaway section after the spiral (Like maybe another spiral)

Takes 15-20 minutes to get to college depending on other commuters and weather. As far as work, it's a 5 minute walk up the street, or a 1 minute ride. I can actually see my work's bright red (McDonalds style) roof from my street corner. I walk home from work as parking there's a pain...(small customer/employee lot, limited street parking)

Time for some bumpage. First time watercolor painter, completely new to all of this and this is what I whip up in 2 days. We had to do 3 focal points on the painting (Areas that catch the eye) so I changed up some minor things, such as the plastic ice block the walrus's sitting on. Original Photo Painting -
Minor update...Color issue's been fixed and I've been doing some more support work. If all goes well, it will be up this weekend. I'll post more screens as I progress as it nears completion. Double Exposure...(Well, Double Print Screen, with the help of photoshop) Support work...nearing completion. Notice the now darker red, not pink.

Did that already...I'll try to reload it again. EDIT: Nevermind...I guess when overriding what I originally made, some of my original textures were in there as well and the .env file was somehow still reading my textures instead of yours. I deleted everything and reloaded yours and seems to work. Thanks for the info. EDIT (Again...) One last question...the supports have no texture...Everything's extracted to where it's supposed to be. EDIT (Sigh...) Well, my posts in this topic are done...I just realized that the support texture's so light that I had to really darken them for it to show up. I'm happy now.

Ok, I tried as you said as far as the colors go...but I noticed that changing the support color seems to be the only one also changing the catwalk color. I got the shade of red I'm after but now, the supports are too dark. Changing the main track color seems to do no good. And the endresult. The colors as you mentioned.

The "post your Halloween party" topic.
Angry_Gumball replied to mmousefan's topic in Random, Random, Random
Not really a party but my work has a tradition of dressing up for the day and taking random group/individual shots and holding up traffic as we stand out on the street. The crew dressed up...and holding back traffic as curious drivers were waving, honking, rubbernecking, etc... Me as the brown goblin or whatever you wanna call it...no one could figure out that it was me underneath. -
I have over 10 attempts on SCBB's Giant Dipper on my computer which all of them failed my expectations. Using mainly memory, and my POV as well as a few photos, is a project rather than a mere attempt. As mentioned in the CCI environment thread, I modified Real's CCI environment (Changed colors of catwalks to what should be red) to make the Dipper. After a few days of seeing it, and a dead topic, I learned to live with it and love it. Anyway, here's what I have going...nearing completion. Feedback please!!! (maybe we can figure out the pinkish red issue. Coming into the last turn on Giant Dipper. Wiii! Airtime! The ever-so-popular photographed spot of the Giant Dipper. (Same area I drew) Beach View...Really nice shot IMO. (The terrain really isn't that nice-looking yet...looks like a jagged lake.) Well, Giant Dipper is infact over the hill. (I know..bad pun) Zee Light at the end of the tunnel! Awsome texture I did back on attempt 5

I was so afraid of thunderstorms for the longest time I guess it was more of the lightning that freaked me out because I had no clue what it was and seeing it right there....followed by a loud boom....It finally took a day that I was riding my bike outside and suddenly we had this huge thunderstorm...the only thing that made us go in was the rain...that night, we just watched it and even saw a funnel cloud start to form...(rare sight for bay area) I have yet to try to take pix of lightning but I hope to get a decent shot some day.

I actually have another question about the CCI environment. Well, I actually tried to mod it so I could accurately make Giant Dipper (Red catwalks, white supports). NL can only make it white unless the environment is used. So, I opened the woodie catwalks in photoshop, made 'em the red they're supposed to be, turned the support texture to white, and then saved them as jpg's as that's how the existing textures are saved as. I then changed up the .env file in notepad (to use the new textures) and the end result was what you see below. The white's showing up fine but the red's showing up faded out. To answer the above questions, are the CCI textures in the appropriate folder? Sounds like something's missing or not in the riight location because the .env's trying to find the texture and having no luck. Maybe try to re-extract the CCI environment. The Catwalk texture...I even tried darkening it and still came up pinkish and washed out.

Why didn't they keep the old pods on TS? You know, the saddle seats with the vest harness...that made you feel so free, like nothing was holding you in. -

Angry_Gumball replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Random, Random, Random
Well, I'm actually disappointed of last weekend...the A's were headed there...they were kicking arse game by game....then they suddenly flopped with the 'get pwn3d' curse for the next 4 games against detroit. Everyone at work are all A's fans as well so we were all let down at the end of last saturday. -
Overviewage of my ever-so-ghetto recreation-starved city. Rare shot of being able to see across the San Francisco bay as there's usually that nasty brown smog everywhere...even the sky it's self looks brown above you as well as off in the distance.
