  1. Was in line for Cocoa Cruiser at Hershey, but my daughter changed her mind in line that she didn't want to wait that long. The line was moving like molasses. It would have been sweet, cause' that would have been a new credit. Oh well, there is always next year.
  2. Yeah, Hypersonic's restraints rivaled Skyrush's if I remember correctly...they were pretty tight by the time you got back to the station.
  3. Like the dark green supports on the B&M. Kinda reminds you of Baron.
  4. Ever since Drachen Fire opened, I always thought they were some of the coolest looking trains. It is a shame that more weren't produced for other coasters.
  5. The park part is true, don't know about the Nimbyism part. It was supposed to be built in Haymarket, or right outside. Around the Leesburg-Warrenton area. I remember seeing the signs and banners that were hanging around everytime on our way to Kings Dominion. I believe it was going to be a colonial theme. EDIT: It does look like it was for a citizen uprising.
  6. Even though I don't speak or understand the language, it looks like a cool video. It is amazing to see where some of the inspiration comes from for some of these well-themed rides. That clip around 1:20 would appear to be where the idea for the lift hill came from.
  7. Only one I can think of right now would be Batman:TR at SFGAdv. I think it was either the first loop, zero-g, or the second loop. It has been awhile. It happened to my buddy and I right around the same time. Scary at first. Have yet to ride I-305, but have ridden Mill. Force a couple of times and so far so good.
  8. Agreed. It seems like they should have rolled out all the stuff at least a month or two ago.
  9. ^^Looks like a gap between the inline twist and the brake run if you look close...I think what people are seeing is the carousel on the other side.
  10. 1. Alpengeist 2. Raptor 3. Dueling Dragons 4. Talon 5. Great Bear Been awhile since I have ridden Batman at SFGAdv. Maybe I can get there next year, along with a first to BGT.
  11. My home park is either SFA or Hershey. Have never gone to SFA, but usually hit up Hershey at least once a year. However I missed this year. Planning on going to both next year.
  12. Kingdom Coaster @ Dutch Wonderland...I believe it is the first CCI.
  13. He seems like a great guy to talk to, and also seems to be a big coaster fanatic...not just an engineer behind a desk. It will be great to see what else he brings to the table in the future. ^BTW...Always wondered why he always wore a hat. He is probably bald, or close to it, under the hat...it happens to a lot of us eventually.
  14. That is one big piece of acrylic (converted it to just a tad under 130ft)...I guess they poured it on site?
  15. Agree...however, it seems that all the wingriders, but X-Flight I think, have a bird or some winged creature looking thing on the front. Maybe they wanted to break the mold a little and go with something different but basic.
  16. ^About 15 to 20 pieces installed in about 12 days (looks like the turn-around by the barn and an inline twist)...maybe not. I was just thinking with it being in the "Thanksgiving" area, they would maybe have it completed by then. Just a thought...
  17. Agree...Fahrenheit and Wildcat, along with Great Bear are my favorite rides there.
  18. I prefer a nice assortment of quality coaster, along with a well maintained atmosphere. A nice effort towards theming also go along way with me as well.
