  1. Nicely said. Also agree with your rankings of the BGW rides. Wish I could've had a couple more rides on both Drachen Fire and BBW.
  2. Need to post some pictures online and was wondering the best or favorite image hosting site. Haven't posted pictures in awhile, so I was going to start fresh with a new site. Thanks.
  3. ^Trying to get out there for the first time next year as well.
  4. ^Man, they do some fast work...they disassembled it, reassembled it, and now they are painting it. All within a couple days. They work really fast...haha...
  5. Can't wait see the Immelmann installed...it might not fit on the screen. I am pretty sure of it.
  6. Looks like they will need some more supports first.
  7. Oops, forgot for second I was there the year Mantis opened, so it would be Mantis.
  8. *BGW management weeps gently, wondering what Drachen Fire could have been if it was built by B&M.* I'm waiting for B&M to make a re-imagined Drachen Fire for BGW. Could be a wing coaster with a few changes like the dive loop drops and no MCBR so early in the ride. I am also waiting for such a ride. This space has yet to be developed. Lets hope...
  9. This is usually the reason. The majority of coasters in the US that allow re-rides if the station is empty typically don't have ride counters. Indeed, I do remember ride counters, so it does make sense. So basically, no counters means a good possibility of a re-ride when given the chance.
  10. Was, and kind of still am, a big fan B&M in the late 90s, so I would say Dragon Khan or Montu and Kumba. Might be able to ride Montu and Kumba next year with trip to Florida.
  11. I think it was Sooper Dooper Looper @ Hershey.
  12. It truly is not really bothering me, they can take the rest of the year for all I care. My plans for a trip there would not come to fruision until next year anyway. The announcement(s) are just something to look forward to for me to get through the day. However, it would be nice to let us know "sometime" soon.
  13. ^Saturday was dead, however rain was in the forecast. I rode all 5 coasters numerous times in three hours.
  14. Though, Tony did give us a clue about this announcement with "#IPROMISE".
  15. Nothing like Holiday World. However, it probably won't be a new ride as well.
  16. Somewhat basing my on this announcement as well. Have been there before, but would like to go back. Might skip this go around, we will see.
  17. They are stringing us along like puppets...this sucks...
  18. Stormrunner I believe was my second.
  19. I have to agree with Robb and Elissa, not until they added such rides as Soarin, Mission to Space, Nemo and Test Track was Epcot what it is now. I have talked to numerous people who are pure Disney fans and they think Epcot is the best park. Now before all the redoing and additions, the park was pretty much just for the casual grown up. Not many headliner rides. Just the meandering people movers and the tour around the world. As for this whole Norway redo, I think Epcot does need this. Not all the princesses should be only at MK. Yes it will cause a little bit of chaos around that way, but I am sure Disney knows this and will do its thing.
  20. I agree with both of you on Hershey's Wildcat, a lot of people on this site bash it, I can't see why since it's a pretty solid woodie... That being said Gwazi (A coaster with a similar history in a different climate) and Hurler are the roughest and worst woodies I've ever ridden. Vortex or Anaconda take the cake for the roughest steel coasters even though they aren't that rough, it's those transitions that really kill ya. Couldn't agree more. Love Wildcat, might even be my favorite ride at Hershey due to "those restraints" on that other coaster. And as for Hurler and Anaconda, I agree again. Those transitions mess up both the rides. Especially Hurler, it seems CCI always had a thing for seeming on turn to the next. I rode one of their firsts, Kingdom Coaster @ Dutch, and man that would be ten times better if they would just add a couple bank turns when needed in place of those flat turns.
  21. Yeah, I am in the minority with you about Wildcat. It is crazy, a little rough, but not discomforting. On the other hand, was on Thunderhawk at Dorney and man is that pretty rough.
  22. Sorry to double post, but the crew there did not allow re-rides even though no one was in line. That kinda sucked, but oh well.
