Game: Careful What You Wish For

Granted, but they now have three-hour lines. I wish for Cedar Point to replace Mean Streak. -
Two weeks ago, Millennium Force. When was the last time you ate fast food?

Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread

I will likely be visiting Worlds of Fun on Saturday, July 18th. How busy should I expect the park to be? Any other tips for conquering the park? -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
VF15 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm still not completely convinced that it will be a dive coaster, thought it's definitely possible since the Sandusky Register did leak the news about Gatekeeper a few months ahead of its announcement. I'm personally hoping that it will be a GCI woodie because Cedar Point could use a standout wooden coaster (Blue Streak is very fun, but not quite on the level of standing out). I'd rather have an RMC wooden coaster, but they're already booked for the year. -

If you tighten the seatbelt as much as possible, it prevents the thigh-crushing on the ejector hills. It worked for me. -

I've ridden both, and I much prefer Magnum. It is slightly rougher than Wild Thing, but the more intense positive-Gs and stronger air make up for it. Magnum's return run has lots of ejector air, while Wild Thing's return run is just light floater air. I still enjoy riding Wild Thing, but after riding Magnum, it makes me wish that Valleyfair would've gone with Arrow instead of Morgan for WT. -

I've found Sundays after Labor Day to be the deadest days at Valleyfair, but if you're talking strictly about the summer season, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the least crowded, though I wouldn't expect 5-minute waits unless you're there first thing in the morning. -
7/10 - Pretty basic but looks good.

Last August, Six Flags Great America. When was the last time you went to the movie theater?

Are you a Screamer, Laugher or WHOOPer?

I'm usually silent while I'm riding coasters, although I might let out a "woah" or "wow" if I hit something unexpectedly great. -
7/10 - I still don't understand how you like Gemini better than El Toro.

Never. (Not into horror movies.) When was the last time you visited a Cedar Fair park?

True. The person below me lives in a big city.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

Sigh... There are people on Facebook that actually think that Six Flags Great America should be sued simply because Sky Trek Tower got stuck and people had to climb down the stairs. My faith in humanity is dropping by the minute. -

Both have coasters from B&M. Kings Island and Six Flags Fiesta Texas?

I think most people want a B&M because it would help give Valleyfair a well-rounded coaster lineup. Plus, it seems like the most likely option since Cedar Fair has stuck mostly with B&M for steel coasters in the past several years, although with the rumors of Michigan's Adventure getting a Chance Hyper GT-X, maybe that could be a possibility too. -
Even though you're going for two days, I would definitely get a Flash Pass on one of those days because SFGAm is one of those parks where you should expect at least an hour-long wait for most rides, even on weekdays. I would also recommend at least getting the Gold or Platinum Flash Pass because the Regular Pass really won't buy you any more time.

Just wondering, do the rest of you think that the new parking lot will have an entrance to the main park in addition to the one for the water park? It seems like it would be a waste for them to only use the new lot for Soak City since considering that it's only open three months a year. I was also thinking about the possibility of putting in a new flume ride. A new flume would definitely go over well since most of the GP seem to miss the old one, plus I feel like a flume is one of those rides an amusement park needs to feel "complete". It seems like the yellow area below would be the best place for them to place a flume since it is a mostly wooded area, although I know most of us would rather see a new coaster go there. Thoughts? -
Earlier today. When was the last time you rode a coaster with a cobra roll?

Has there been anything new happening with the disturbed land between the parking lot and the employee dorms? Haven't been to the park for a while, so I wouldn't know. -

My feelings exactly. I made my first visit to Cedar Point last week and I'm already dying to go back .
