  1. That's EXACTLY what I was thinking.
  2. I've got two toons on Alexstrasza. Mightypotato Lv 40 Human Warrior (donate gold for mount, plz?) Guild: Legionnaires Armory link Gorastin Lv 15 Blood Elf Paladin Guild: none Armory link
  3. ^ The last time I rode Minebuster was for Hallowe'en Haunt or FearFest or whatever it is they call it now. It was actually fairly decent, and not that rough. I was very surprised and impressed that I didn't break a vertebrae.
  4. Drop Tower? Really? They should have put a 1 on the end for true RCT goodness. I swear, Cedar Fair comes up with the WORST names for rides.
  5. There was one of those for years in the Niagara Falls tourist area though. Anyone else remember "Ride Niagara"?
  6. ^ At least it would be the one location that would kind of make sense. Everyone just missed the obvious.
  7. I think I remember hearing plans for something like that for the Table Rock area a few years ago. I think something like that would be a great compliment to the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds.
  8. Its just before you get to SkyRider and the Minebuster.
  9. You'd be correct. Vortex is the only other coaster there worth riding more than once. At least our flat ride collection is pretty good.
  10. Yep. To my knowledge, FoF was going to be moved to Canada's Wonderland under the old Paramount management. It was going to go where Behemoth currently is. Personally, I'm much happier with a B&M hyper than another LIM coaster.
  11. my biggest regret was missing Drachen Fire. I was there in its last season and had just started liking roller coasters. Tragically, I didn't like them enough at the time I guess...and no one wanted to ride it with me. Two years later when we came back, it was officially SBNO. I also missed Manhattan Express and High Roller when I was in Las Vegas in 1997. ME was closed and we never got down to the Stratosphere.
  12. Parks I KNOW I'm going to: Canada's Wonderland Darien Lake Waldameer Martin's Fantasy Island Cedar Point Parks I'll probably be at, but not sure: Holiday World Kings Island Kennywood
  13. Mr. Show + roller coasters = instant awesome.
  14. Darien Lake's "Ride of Steel" is Intamin's first hyper coaster.
  15. Oh man, I've wanted to ride one of these for a long time. I think I'm actually going to go to Martin's this year instead of driving by it, as usual.
  16. 85 degrees American is only about 75 degrees Canadian. That probably explains it.
  17. Hahahaha...I do the exact same thing. It makes my voting so much easier.
  18. Its about time. I was wondering when the steel poll ballots would open.
  19. The last one I saw was Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on the 21st. Ozzy may be old and drugged out, but he can still put on a great show.
  20. I'm pretty sure they have one of those at PCW. Its essentially like your standard Round-Up.
  21. Well...it looks like Darien Lake is back on my list of parks to visit this summer. It may not be the most intense/groundbreaking coaster, but the fact that the park is getting something new is a huge step forward. Maybe, as an added 2008 bonus, they'll assemble the Intamin stand-up that's been in storage there since Astroworld closed.
  22. I think that is an awesome idea. Not only is it creative and outside the box, but it'd be great for planningyour day and/or keeping kids under control while in line
  23. I've got to agree. When I was there for their Halloween Haunt, the lift was about 3/4 done and it already looked massive. I seriously cannot wait to ride this. This also beats the pants off of KI's FoF that we were originally going to get under Paramount management.
  24. I was going to make a comment on how appropriate and realistic that is. lol.
  25. After searching for a while, I finally found and bought a Wii. With it, I picked up Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3. Both games I absolutely love. The Wii is definitely a big surprise in terms of a gaming system. It has far exceeded my expectations.
