  1. Would the park just suddenly open the ride without announcing a date? Didn't they announce a date in advance for Patriot? What about Gold Striker? I'll be here in late July, so as long as it's open by then! lol
  2. You bring up a solid point. Considering Six Flags said they want to purchase/operate parks "near their other parks," I wouldn't be too surprised if Magic Springs was in the talks at some point. It is about equidistant to both Six Flags Over Texas and the newly-acquired Frontier City (310 and 316 miles, respectively). And Six Flags St. Louis isn't much farther away either. In addition to Magic Springs, I would also love to see Six Flags purchase/operate Elitch Gardens (again). It would be nice to have some Six Flags parks in an area of the country that is extremely dry of major theme parks, especially chain parks.
  3. I mean, I find RMC's trains extremely comfortable. But at the same time, you cannot expect B&M Hyper or Mack-like trains on RMCs either, considering all the tight clearances and crazy maneuvers their coasters do.
  4. ^The way you described Wonder Woman makes me so excited to ride Railblazer this July. I hope Six Flags (and even Cedar Fair tbh) clone the crap outta these things. PLEASE become the new Boomerang! lol
  5. Like others have said, they are extremely bulky and sit mid-thigh. I also think there is very little leg/knee room, and I'm only 5'10". This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I GREATLY prefer Skyrush's lap bars. They also sit mid-thigh, but they seem to conform to the body a little more comfortably. They get tight, but it's not an awkward, painful tight like on Superman. At least for me...
  6. Wow. I’m not really sure what to say that hasn’t already been said. I’m not too familiar with Europa Park, so I’m going to be honest, I had no idea what these rides were or what the areas were like. But since it’s Europa Park I imagine they were incredible. What a loss. Sad say indeed.
  7. Banshee at Kings Island
  8. I would be completely fine with either of those options! There is a lot RMC can do with this layout. I can totally see them pulling some Iron Rattler shenanigans on those wide helices. Also glad to see RMC start taking an international presence.
  9. Nice mini report. Looks like a great little coaster that packs a punch. Although those guys in the third photo don't look to amused...
  10. Despite their hate I actually really enjoy super loops. A 100-foot version sounds awesome. Maybe one day I'll make it out to SFGAm. Unless Magic Mountain puts in a 150-foot version that holds 48 people and calls it their 20th coaster...which I would honestly be totally fine with.
  11. Even though I didn’t like the ride much, it’s nice to see Wipeout come back. Hopefully it gets a spiffy new paint scheme!
  12. The brake run is most definitely long enough for three train operation. It will run like most 3-train B&Ms (that have 2 blocks before the station and a MCBR). If all the trains need to be at the station, there's one in the station, one in the block behind it, and the third one on the final brakes, again, just like the B&Ms. Also, the ride is very long and the time between the lift and MCBR and the MCBR and final brakes is quite a lot. The way the coaster's layout and block system is set up, it should be able to run three trains without any stacking at all, no problem. Why the trains bumped is still a mystery for sure, but I am totally confident that Cedar Point and RMC intended for this ride to have three train service.
  13. I love how slow that heart-line roll is right before the second launch. Talk about crazy hang time, and right over a pathway too! What a perfect addition to the park and the UK in general.
  14. Very interesting. Hopefully two train operation will come this weekend, and once more of the kinks get worked out, we can see them run all three trains in the summer like planned. This is Cedar Point so I fully expect them to get this ride running at optimal capacity ASAP.
  15. Great report! I love how that one photo of Medusa's train has a random red car in the middle. I wonder if they literally just took it from the other train? Lol. Also, Medusa has never run steel wheels, but I do think they did something to the wheels when the added VR to make the ride a little more tame, and now that VR is off, the coaster still hasn't "reverted back." That's too bad it didn't quite live up to the hype for you, because its layout is basically perfect. It's high up on my bucket list of RMCs.
  16. Oh yeah, they're building this thing. I totally forgot tbh. (No I didn't actually forget...)
  17. Looks GREAT! Despite its short length, it seems like it has solid pacing and a few great ejector hills. And that wave turn shouldn't be allowed...
  18. Does this mean the park will be called "Six Flags Frontier City"? I know Six Flags had some involvement in the park 10-ish years ago, but has it ever had the Six Flags prefix?
  19. My goodness. I'm usually fine with spinny flat rides. I love top scans, top spins, frisbees, super loops, and basically any other thrilling flat ride, but I'm not sure I would jump right on this one. You're basically either upside down or almost upside down for the vast majority of the ride! Yikes.
  20. Very interesting move that I was not expecting, at least not with Frontier City and Darien Lake. But I'm all for it!
  21. LOL yes. I know those colors reminded me of something.
  22. You are definitely right. Those are HUSS restraints, for sure.
  23. Yep! Went and double checked a few construction photos of Time Traveler and DC Rivals. Definitely very similar! I'm so pumped for this. Assuming it's what we think it will be, this is a perfect fit for Carowinds, and the US gets another huge Mack coaster!
  24. ^It seems to be an RMC thing, because Twisted Colossus almost always tries to take off my shirt! lol
