  1. Any word on Harley Quinn? I know the opening date kept getting pushed back in June, but hasn't the park been silent now for like a month?
  2. If we get anything remotely similar to Time Traveler, I will be VERY happy. I was going to say we'll have to wait a while, but geez it's already mid-July. Announcements are less than two months away!
  3. ^Too bad you missed out on Canyon Blaster. It's definitely one of the better Arrows out there. The only rough part, for me, was the final helix and some of the transitions in there. The loops and corkscrews were smooth as glass. I agree that El Loco is a great ride. I'm not the biggest fan of the hard seats, but the funky elements and lap bars are definitely a big plus.
  4. Thanks! And you're going to enjoy Electric Eel! It was my first Sky Rocket II model and I must say they pack a punch! I'm excited too! I have yet to ride a Sky Rocket II, however my first one will technically be Superman at SFDK since I will be riding that one a few days before going to SWSD. Even though it's rather short, I really enjoy Full Throttle for what it is, so if these models are anything like that, count me in. I'm curious to see the differences in the 2- and 3-car versions, restraints aside. I'm sure the forces in the front and back cars are much more exaggerated.
  5. I would put Mack Mega/Launch coaster trains on Skyrush. Now THAT would be perfection.
  6. Purchased the Vintage Pack today. I really like it for what it is. They added some old school flats (my favorite being Rock-O-Plane!) as well as a couple new woodies, one of which being a super vintage wooden coaster train ala Coney Island Cyclone. Haven't tried out the vending machines yet. I'm glad they're still updating this game. Hopefully in a few months we'll see even more coaster types and flat rides. They are still so many more the game could use!
  7. ^That's nice to hear you had a good time. I really like the park a lot and I'm excited to ride Electric Eel in a few weeks. And yeah, traffic getting in and out of San Diego is always terrible.
  8. Sorry, I should have been clear. I was referring to Medusa at Six Flags Mexico which had a different wheel set put on when they installed VR on the ride and it has apparently been running slower than usual due to this.
  9. ^A few people I follow on Instagram said the same thing (maybe it’s you guys I follow lol). Perhaps it got the “Medusa treatment” for whatever reason. Sigh. Hopefully it’s running better in two weeks when I’m there.
  10. Lagoon does not offer free water either, at least at any of the locations I have been. They charge a quarter, which really isn't a big deal other than I need to carry around change. They fill up refillable season bottles with water for free though, rather than the usual $1 refill. Luckily charging for water seems to be pretty rare, and the vast majority of parks everywhere give it out for free, but a few select places are weird.
  11. Great report, per usual. I'm probably not as big of a Disney geek as many other people around here, but I NEED to get to Tokyo DisneySea at some point. Or really just Japan for that matter. I admire how efficient, polite, and respectable their culture really is. If only every park was run like this!
  12. This one is totally up to you, but don't forget that Belmont Park is only 2 miles away if you're interested in riding a historic wooden coaster. I'm planning a trip to SWSD later this month and I totally forgot Giant Dipper existed, so I'm thinking about heading over in the evening after SeaWorld and checking it out since I've never been. Again, it's all up to you and how late you're planning on staying at SeaWorld, but I thought I would at least bring it up.
  13. Awesome report! I absolutely loved Hersheypark during my visit in 2016, and I NEED to get back on Skyrush sometime soon. I worship that coaster just like you. With Kennywood adding something in 2019... hmm.
  14. Looks great! I LOVE the color scheme.
  15. Next park will be when I head back home to Knott's and finally ride HangTime, on Friday the 20th.
  16. Shamefully, Puff the Little Fire Dragon at Lagoon today. I finally got the credit after going to the park so many times... lol And I only did it because there was absolutely no line, so the only person judging me was the ride operator!
  17. That low-to-the-ground helix looks awesome, and the colors are gorgeous. Looks good!
  18. Skyrush is my all time favorite roller coaster, and Hyperion looks like a bigger, better version of it. Count me in, whenever the heck I manage to get to Europe, let alone Poland.
  19. ^I will admit I'm a little bummed V2 will be closed (unless hell freezes over and Six Flags assembles the train and reopens the ride within the next two weeks lol). I really like the Intamin Impulses I've ridden (Wicked Twister and Possessed), and this one looks even freakier than those. But I'm still super pumped for Joker, Superman, Medusa, and even Harley Quinn, so I have plenty other rides to look forward too. Thanks for the info.
  20. ^Nice mini report. I take it V2 was closed, what other rides/coasters weren't operating? I'll be there for the first time in a couple weeks and I'm wondering what I should expect to not be open.
  21. The color scheme is definitely giving me Rougarou vibes, which isn't a bad thing. I actually really like brown/orange and forest green together. Can't wait for the announcement.
  22. After seeing that TRex is in the word search, I think that's what we may be seeing. Or Kennywood is just screwing with us. Also "tallest inversion", maybe that's what the 220-feet is? This is exciting!
  23. I've gotta hand it to Kennywood, this is a GREAT way to build hype for a coaster. It's a challenge and screws with enthusiasts. Bravo!
  24. Just my guesses, because why not. 220 feet tall 197 foot drop 75 mph 3 inversions 4000 feet long 120 second ride time 9 airtime moments 50-degree lift? 24 passengers per train I suppose the 197 and 220 could be switched because depending on lift speed, angle of descent, and trains, both can hit a top speed of 75 mph. This sounds an awful lot like a Mack Hyper, such as Flash or DC Rivals. Could be an Intamin or even Gerstlauer too.
  25. Yes, it did for me at least. I went in late July last year and got in line for Nighthawk about an hour before park close. I think we still waited about 20-30 minutes but it is much better than in the middle of the day. The ride still sucks just as much though!
