  1. This is an awesome addition. I love how Seaworld literally works with every manufacturer. And yes, S&S really is on a roll!
  2. I was expecting this announcement too. So as of 2019, the only Six Flags parks without super loops are Magic Mountain and Mexico - and that's even including Frontier City and Darien Lake. Watch for those 2020 announcements next year... lol. They have to finish what they started!
  3. Six Flags can do whatever they want to their other Stand-Ups, but they better not touch Riddler's Revenge. In my humble opinion, of course...
  4. I really cannot decide on one favorite type because I love so many. If I had to put together a small list: Zamperla Giant Discoveries S&S Screamin' Swings Intamin Drop Towers Mondial Top Scans I also love old school ones like Enterprises and Rock-O-Planes. I can't decide!
  5. I actually like the name Firebird quite a bit, and I'm surprised no coaster has been named that before.
  6. I love absolutely everything about this coaster and wouldn't change a single thing. The colors, the trains, the layout, the name, the theme... I love everything! I think this is my favorite 2019 announcement.
  7. Love! That tiny double up after the launch looks
  8. This was definitely the biggest surprise for me in the announcement video. Looks like a great addition. I figured it was only a matter of time before Discovery Kingdom got a Free Spin.
  9. Super pleased with this! I'm glad I kept my expectations low, because this is much bigger than I was expecting. Luckily, I think the whole "pit stop" and re-launch will be much more effective in making sure the trains race every dispatch. That seems much easier to time than lift hill speed like on TC. I was definitely not expecting them to go with Premier on this, but I am 100% OK with that. I love the Sky Rocket IIs and Full Throttle, so more power to them. With that being said, I really hope they don't put the discomfort collars on this...
  10. ^And the 30th is tomorrow, so two days from when it was posted. Excited for all the announcements tonight and tomorrow morning!
  11. So what I'm gathering is it's taller than Superman and opening on January 12? That's gotta mean year round operations. As for the ride, I have zero idea.
  12. Cedar Fair building a B&M is a well-oiled machine. This thing will be up in no time!
  13. It looks like the updated layout got rid of the final inversion (inline twist). Very interesting, but still super cool they are cramming this ride in an already crammed park. ^I think you may be on to something regarding the two-across seating. It's difficult to really tell now but I'm sure it's possible and given all the tight clearances, I wouldn't be surprised.
  14. Time for an update. I really cannot decide on an order anymore so I will just list the first ten totally awesome, amazing coasters I can think of that I wouldn't mind riding at this exact moment. Skyrush El Toro Intimidator 305 Fury 325 Maverick Railblazer Twisted Colossus Kingda Ka (front row only) Millennium Force Nitro Honorable mentions: X2, Tatsu, Superman the Ride, Joker (SFDK), Wicked Cyclone.
  15. I have learned that using the angle snap tool, you can essentially create any geometry-based design you like. I tend to use angle snap almost exclusively on Arrows, old school woodies, and sometimes RMCs to create nice parabolic hills and drops, but I pretty much do GCIs, Intamins, and others almost entirely free-hand (except for the station, lift, and brakes of course). I basically never create B&Ms because it is so difficult to get their style right, and it is almost impossible to do with or without angle snap. The more I play Planet Coaster, the more I really appreciate the versatility of the coaster building tools. Man, it is light years better than RCT3 yet no where near as complicated or scary as No Limits. Oh, and yes, I REALLY want Schwarzkopf coasters too! Also ^, nice note about putting up signs. I think I'll try that on some of my "abandoned" flat rides. EDIT: Also, if I were to come up with anything to add to the coaster building tools, it would be continuous rolling. That is the one feature of No Limits I really appreciate.
  16. I'm sure it's a combination of everything you just listed. I can't really think of any other reason this much track would be replaced after only a year of operation. Just like Chuck said, this does remind me of what happened with I305.
  17. Please someone with one of those purchased RMC shirts, go to SFMM in the next two days and sneak around the back of the park to stir up more controversy. I have one. Maybe I'll make a trip down to the park tomorrow with a clipboard and tape measure, and sneak around Adrenaline Alley. Look for me in the next Park Bros. video. Please, please, PLEASE do this! OMG
  18. The rumors for this attraction have been all over the place the last few months so I really don't know what to predict anymore, but I am 100% on board with dueling Raptors. I guess we'll find out in just three days!
  19. Wow, color me intrigued. I will admit that I am surprised to see a good amount of teasing going on considering they just got Wonder Woman this year. I would love to see a Discovery at this park, but something tells me this is bigger (in terms of real estate).
  20. ^Agreed. I don't think SFOT and SFFT influence each other one bit. Both parks also have Pandemoniums, old school Premier launch coasters, S&S towers, Boomerangs at one point. The list goes on. Heck, SFFT added a Batman clone with another one 17 miles away. With that being said, I can totally see a Raptor clone coming to SFOT at some point in the next few years.
  21. Any hill on El Toro or Skyrush takes the cake for me. Totally sustained ejector air that shouldn't be allowed. Oh, and Railblazer. I can't forget about that thing...
  22. Wow! Excellent video. By far the best Twisted Timbers footage out there and one of my new favorite videos on the channel! The POV is awesome (wow the ride has really sped up) and I love the stationary camera through the rolls.
  23. This park has received several large flats over the last few years along with a roller coaster and an awesome dark ride, so I really have no idea what to expect. Maybe something small for the families/kids.
  24. Giant Dipper at Belmont Park, San Diego. I finally got around to riding it after all these years. A fun little classic woodie but nothing extraordinary.
  25. Wouldn't it tie the record with kennywood? Depends on how you're counting. I was thinking ride height, not drop height, so I was thinking it would beat Skyrush and Steel Force. But if you're thinking drop height, depends on where they put it. HP is hilly enough that if they place it right, they could get a 229' drop even with a 220' height. We'll see when they make their announcement. I believe he was referring to it sharing the record with Steel Curtain.
