KingRCT3's NoLimits creations

A POV would be interesting although it would require a bit of editing as obviously the lift arm isn't functional. I'd love the see a POV as well though. -
What area really needs a theme park?
Zem replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Houston by far. We are the 4th largest city in the US and we only have 2 small parks outside of the city by the gulf. -

Game - Guess this coaster...

Well this thread has been dead for a while and I'd like to see it come back. This one shouldn't be too hard. -
What is the best coaster in your home park?
Zem replied to MattJackson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As there are only 2 parks near me and each has 1 coaster, it would have to be the Boardwalk Bullet and Iron Shark. -
The RCT/RCT2 Preview Thread
Zem replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^^That's some fantastic looking scenery! Can't wait to see more. ^Personally I think the path look just the right size. Often people when using RCT2 make their paths much too thin. -
Not that I know of, and I doubt it will. Parks in Japan that can afford a B&M typically have fairly good maintenance.

Granted but you will procrastinate even more over the next 3 weeks. I wish I wasn't stuck in class right now. -

Iron Rattler [RCT3]
Zem replied to daniellazarus's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Once again, don't use the overbanks for the section on top of the cliff. They are much too large and don't look right. Also use the 30 degree barrel roll rather than the 60 degree one. That will make it look much nicer. -
I am a proud contributor to this absurd list

I just read that a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Ben Bova and Larry Niven are my two Sci-Fi authiors. RIght now I'm reading "A History of Women in America" for AP US History.

Se part of the layout on that should be on top of the cliff is much too large. Hopefully this will help you Also for the inversion I'd recommend using the 30 degree barrel roll rather than the flat one. -
Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Discussion Thread
Zem replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Besides their two small kiddie coasters(and that one water coaster they used to have), Mt, Olympus is fairly adamant about only wooden coasters. I doubt they'd install a large steel coaster but it would be cool. -

The Airplane Model project
Zem replied to hillflyer's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Making it actually light up shouldn't be too hard. The most difficult thing is making it look nice. I'm not sure if you can find LEDs small enough to fit onto the ends of those wires. Another thing is getting the power to the LEDs. Unless you want there to be a chance of getting a small shock you might want to look for some thin insulated wire to make the goosenecks out of. After you get that sorted out the rest is fairly simple. You should be able to just wire them up to a battery with a switch and you should be good to go. Most of the parts can be found at your local electronics or hobby stores but I'm not sure if you will be able to get that small of LEDs. If they are available, you most likely will have to order them online. I'll have time to look for some when I get home today so I can hopefully find something that would work. Also, do you plan to have any other electronics incorperated into this model? I'd love to see if you could pull off a moving chain on the lift hill or something like that. -

Granted but all the coasters are closed during said event. I wish Nina Kleppe liked this. -
