This seems like it will be a very uncomfortable coaster if it is ever built. The banking and peaks seem wrong to me and don't seem like they would be very enjoyable. The whole coaster has a very poor flow to it as well. I feel like they should modify the layout in certain ways and take a few ideas from Intamin's HyperLites which have really nice and consistent flow to them. It just seems really jerky to me and the banks in and out of turn are off but this is just my opinion.

Technically that is Gerstlauer track you see in the photo. Both companies use the Tri-Truss track. Also the B&M floorless trains look the be the closest thing to what was actually planned for the coaster. The trains may not have been completed by the time this came out so the artists and designers did the best they could with what they had.

I think it would be nice though for Fiesta Texas to have another family coaster like the one in GCI's video. They currently only have 2 coasters I would consider to be family rides(RRE and Pandemonium). I hope this might be some sort of early leak for a new coaster!

That's what I'm thinking. If you look at videos of their other models, the coasters are typically in a field with some trees and water nearby, just generic terrain. Why would GCI go through the effort of 3d modeling the cliff and other rides in this park for this one specific coaster? If they wanted to show it in a park you think they would pick on with easier terrain to model. There have been rumors about a small woodie in the boardwalk section for awhile now. I'd love to see this be added to the park but I'm doubtful currently.

Anyone recognize the park in the background of on GCI's video of their Rye Airplane Coaster?(Rhetorical Question)

Are those racing water coasters I see? (The red and yellow slides on the right comming from the same tower) If you look at the picture it looks like they go uphill at various parts. If so then that would be awesome.

I understand where you're coming from, but you can't force me to not post pics of standard models on here as you're not a moderator. I wasn't forcing you. I was just making a suggestion. It just helps to keep the game going and doesn't unnecessarily hinder it. I'm fine if you post a standard model but please try to post more of it to where we can at least get an idea as to what the coaster is or where it might be. The odd ones are more fun anyways.

^It's 7 Picos at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid. Please from now on refrain from posting pictures of roller coasters that are a common model. There are so many coasters that look just like this one and even more so from the small section of track you included in the picture. If you are going to post a reproduction include some sort of identifying feature that can make it easier to guess.

It says right on the Pleasure Pier's website the policy for loose articles. It doesn't matter if the train is empty or not. If you bring a camera on the ride, knowing full well that they aren't allowed, you are breaking the park rules. I don't understand why you feel entitled to be "above the rules" because the train is empty. That's why I said I was going to contact them. I would never take a POV of a coaster without direct permission from the park. If I email them and they say that I can do it then I will, but if the deny me then I won't. I've never taken any onride footage of a ride against park rules and don't plan on doing so. I was stating that it would be easier to do on an empty train but that wasn't in direct relation to topic. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

I'm thinking about contacting the Pleasure Pier and seeing if they would let me bring my camera on the ride. There are currently no good POV's online so I'd like to get permission to take one. The park isn't ever too busy and I often get to ride on empty trains so it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm also going to get some POV's of some of the coasters at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in a couple weeks. They don't seem to care what you bring on the ride.

To be honest I would have to see how much of his hands he was lacking. Those splashdown rides just have a small seat belt and require you to hold on to the bar infront of you. If he could've gotten on the other rides though I don't know why they would make an big deal over this one in particular. The operator should've contacted managment and they could have sorted it out easily but if it was in the park policy before hand and was proven to be unsafe, then the park is well within its rights. Although I think it is unfair he couldn't get on the ride, I don't feel it was worth sueing over and doubt this incident caused the man "mental anguish".

I would definately check out SSCoasters.net if you want to get into model coaster building. There are a large number of guides to improving your K'nex coasters. These look to be a good start but lack a lot structually and design wise. These problems can easily be fixed with a little practice. I'd love to see something slightly more realistic from you in the future with a better support structure. You may need to invest in getting a few more sets though.
