I'm guessing the designs for the ride were planned up first and then the marketing team may have got some ideas form the inversion as well as the possible 'washing machine'.

I feel the Smiler and other rides at Alton Towers find a really nice middle ground between ride length and theming. I prefer a longer layout to theming but it really depends on a case by case basis for me.

The reason I did it this way was because I was uploading the pictures to multiple sites so going through photobucket makes this very easy as opposed to uploading them all to different sites.

If I'm out of town visiting a park I'll get there when it opens a typically leave by mid afternoon when it starts getting crowded. Then I'll spend the rest of the day doing something in town or locally. I'll do this for two days so I can ride everything in the park and enjoy the time I'm spending without dragging out the days for too long. The park plays a large factor as well. Six Flags park become tiring fairly quickly but some other parks hold up better for longer visits.

Hm odd. Those are the only two rides in the park I haven't ridden yet. Maybe it's because I tend to go on days when there are few people or I've just gotten really unlucky. Also does anyone else think that Fiesta Texas could take out the old log flume by the boardwalk and fit in a new and fairly large family coaster and what do you think they would realistically put in? Didn't they plan on putting one in where Pandemonium is the year Superman opened but they never erected it?

I've never been to the park when it was operating in the years that I have gone. The Twister top spin ride is the same. What? They are talking about the Scooby Doo Dark Ride which has been open every single time I have visited the park (50+ times) and has nothing to do with the top spin??? They must just hate me then. The 4 or 5 times I've been it hasn't been open. Not sure why but I always walk by it on my way to Pandemonium and it is just not operating. I love dark rides so this always confused me. I just assumed it wasn't ever operational like the top spin. And there isn't really a relation between the rides but does the top spin ever operate?

I wouldn't really consider that very unique since near vertical drops are quite common now on many coasters.

Get this guys. A dive coaster off the top of the cliff. I think that would be an amazing addition to the park although I don't believe it will ever happen. They could take out the old splashdown ride back there as well since they already have Bug's Rapids and since it's one of the less popular attractions and they would have tons of room to expand to.
