^Thanks for those pics. Interesting how I305's cable looks a bit thinner than I thought it would. It also appears to make a rather sharp angle on the white wheel so I wonder if that really would be an issue on the new ride.
Check page 211. The very first date was 2016. I believe it was only more recently they said late 2016/17 and only now (or a few months ago) spring 2017.
^Wasn't the initial date 2016? Then they started aiming at late 2016/early 2017?
I'm sure I heard someone saying that although I'm not certain those were official.
Flying coaster...? A really good wooden coaster...? An RMC coaster...? An Aqua Trax...? A Polercoaster...? Just to name a few! They still have plenty of options!
I would love a flying coaster at Cedar Point, though I wonder how popular it would be.
I was actually a bit surprised they went with a dive machine before a flyer as it would have been a more different experience (and possibly easier to market because of that) although this is looking pretty good.
Just one thing I'm not sure about: are we supposed to mention a ride where we could just sit and do nothing and still be in your seat once it's over or one where we'd be able to hold ourselves in place (if we had handlebars or something to grab to)? For example, while I'm sure a ride like steel force would make me fly out of my seat if I just sat there I'm pretty sure I'd be able to keep myself from lifting off the seat if there were something I could grab.
Neither have I, I mean, at least because of the fact that they're standups as what makes me not enjoy the ones I've ridden (Green L and Mantis) as much as I could is the level of smoothness (which is still much better on GL). Mantis is/was probably the roughest B&M I've ridden so that's the one I'd pick.
