  1. I concur. Yup. The same. Everything about the ride is great, especially the snap into the brakes
  2. ^I have no idea how fast the train will be going but the track twists around 180º in a rather short length. That only means one thing.... . twistyyyyy!
  3. It does. But then they all do at this stage. I guess I'll have to wait until it gets built to make a judgment.
  4. ^Haha. It does sound surprising how they continue to announce new coasters considering how new the park is.
  5. ^I actually think the inversions are relatively well spread out with plenty of twistyness and airtime moments in the middle. Perhaps I would replace the first one with a big el toro style airtime hill but then RMC seems to prefer shorter pops of air with quick changes of direction between them. I think it looks fantastic especially considering the pacing and duration as these more intense rides usually are a bit short.
  6. Well, that's still better than just being left there to rotten.
  7. You might be surprised to find out that there's quite a few people that don't realize the speed comes from gravity. When I tell people (most) roller coasters have no actual motor on the train more than 50% is surprised. Okay, maybe 60%
  8. B&M: Mantis. It wasn't terrible just not very enjoyable (when compared to the others I've been on) Intamin: indiana jones et le temple du péril. Unlike most I don't dislike the coaster. It's just... meh... I haven't ridden enough GCIs to answer this.
  9. Isn't the lift supposed to be around 60 meters and the loop 50 (or 52)?
  10. ^^I know this gets repeated a lot but I'm just saying I'd like to see a fast lift that could stay that way (as we know intamin can do so and does on most coasters). It's like saying I would rather not see any or not may trims on the ride.
  11. I hope this has a fast intamin cable lift which doesn't slow down at the top as that will make the drop even better!
  12. ^That's one I'm planning to watch soon. Sounds pretty interesting.
  13. ^That'd give an awesome sensation of speed!
  14. I also noticed how narrower the spine was. I guess they're just becoming more efficient but of course the trains can be smaller (bigger they won't be, I'd say)
  15. I've only been on one flyer but I do enjoy the concept. It might me a gimmick but it's one that actually makes a big difference when you're riding. Plus I think pretzel loops are insane! One thing I'd like to see would be a low, close to the ground and fast section to take advantage of the flying position. I think it'd be more insteresting than some slower higher turns we usually see.
  16. Nice that you enjoyed banshee. I haven't been on it but I assume part of what makes it good is how the ride is "always" reaching full speed at the bottom of each element without there really being a "second part".
  17. ^Looks a bit short but cool.
  18. That's a steep drop! (and lift) Can't wait to see the finished product
  19. I find it amazing how from the outside it looks like just a wall but from the coaster area it's a totally different "world".
  20. ^So is mine. After having ridden a few more flats recently I still pick that one
  21. ^Wow it really is running a lot faster! Great
  22. ^That'd be cool. I suppose some other elements like corkscrews could also be done with both tracks "connected" but yeah, probably the main thing would be a loop.
  23. Well, there can obviously be airtime there but in theory the shape that would provide airtime at the top is that of a normal loop as those usually have positive Gs on that part (despite not being much). If a loop like junker's provides hangtime having the upper part the right way up should result in positive Gs but naturally there are a few ways intamin can incorporate air there (like on the twist and so on). It's not finished yet so nobody knows.
