^I guess the 8 across is because these restraints require wider seats than their normal OTSR. -

Now that made me laugh. The ride seems pretty cool. These coasters are always short but at least this one manages to pack more inversions and does something different after the MCBR. Looks like great fun! -
Over The Shoulder Restraints. (OTSRs)
rcjp replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
True. I remember when I was riding hydra and going through the jojo roll that I noticed almost all the pressure was on my legs. And look at the OTSR that intamin uses/used on their accelerator coasters: the "main" part is that bar that holds your legs. The OTS straps can even break so they're not too important. -

That airtime hill looks like it might give some serious air! -
^If they replaced the trains with floorless ones (which already seem heavier) they could get rid of the zero car and add another row.

I think they were softened after its opening season but, in my opinion, they're still super painful. At least they were for me in 2013 if I had my hands up (which I always do). It's still an incredibly awesome ride but it just isn't my favorite because of that issue. -

^Skyrush is probably the coaster whose POV gives you the "worst preparation" for what the ride really is. lol It's intensity cannot be comprehended by watching a video. -

As someone who's been with TPR almost since its founding, allow me to say very sincerely that I hope this never happens. It's a real shame that some idiots made you guys felt driven to do that with the trips. It'll be a shame if that happens with these kinds of events as well. It makes me sad that I was ultimately unable to participate in the TPR tours while they were going on. Now that my life is more stable than it was a couple years ago, I would have loved to take some of my vacation days and have a blast on a TPR tour. I also find it a shame that things turned out that way. I haven't been here for that long but I also was really looking forward to doing a TPR trip very soon. In fact, I have been saving some money for a few years now with the intention of doing so and now because of things like this I won't be able to. I can't say much as I really have no idea of the amount of work the preparation of these events require but I also hope they don't away too as it'd be a real shame for those who want to have a great time with you.

In the door maker's defense, if the openings were made wider, people would still find a way to stub their toes. Maybe an ant wandering on the floor. Thinking they could kick the ant, people would instead kick the door. Like Robb and others have said here you can't make anything 100% idiot proof as there will always be a way round the measures you take. It's a shame parks can't trust their guests because if they did plenty of things could be nicer. For instance, it always annoys me when I can't get too close to a ride or go under it without loads of netting but if you could I imagine the stupid things some people would do and as a result everyone has to "suffer". -

I honestly don't get it. If someone decides to jump some fences, run across an airport runway and gets hit by a plane will anyone dare to say it's the pilot's or the airport's fault? God this is annoying. It looks like some people are anxiously waiting for any accident to happen at a park so that they can blame them. -
