  1. I think Zamperla is much more successful than they get credit for. They don't offer large coasters, but they completely dominate the kiddie and family ride markets. Almost every park has a collection of Zamperla rides, and this year alone (2014) they built nine new coasters. They also have had incredible success with their larger flats, such as the Discovery, Power Surge, Disco, and Air Race.
  2. I might be the only one, but I LOVE coasters that are completely white. Looking great!
  3. I usually watch YouTube on my computer. Sometimes I'll use my phone, but not too often. I subscribe to about 15 channels and I check the My Subscriptions page a couple times per week. I rarely go directly to a channel. As for sharing, I don't think I have ever shared a YouTube video on any social media site.
  4. I voted no. I use multiple emails, and my TPR account is not registered under the email that I check daily. I usually don't see the emails for a couple days after they are sent, and by then the information is somewhat outdated (Pages of discussion already, etc.). I also check the forum daily, so I usually have seen everything that is included in the email before it is sent. However, I really like the look of the emails and the content is fantastic. If I didn't have time to check the forums in a week the emails would be great.
  5. Wasted - Tiesto
  6. ^The line moves very fast. From the point where the roof starts it is about a 75 minutes wait.
  7. Really well done video! On October 19th they are going to announce Mantis has been sold to Darien Lake, calling it.
  8. Bizarro. It was a good coaster, but at the same time I didn't think it lived up to the hype.
  9. 1. El Toro - SFGADv 2. Goliath - SFNE 3. Phoenix - Knoebels 4. Superman: Ride of Steel - SFA 5. Nitro - SFGADv 6. Sidewinder - Elitch Gardens 7. Bizarro - SFNE 8. Roller Coaster - Lagoon 9. Batman: The Ride - SFGADv 10. Batwing - SFA
  10. ^I agree that the ride is most fitting at SFA. SFA reminded me a lot of Elitch Gardens, and the same ride seemed to fit in quite well there. I really need to get back to SFA. Since I was last there they added two new coasters and a set of flyers. It's nice to see the park working to improve so much!
  11. Batman looks like a really fun ride! I really like how riders sit facing each other, and it looks to have a better layout than the Intamin Zacspins do.
  12. That press release is really bothering me. In one place it says "you and 23 other riders", in another place it says the ride holds 20 riders, and finally it says the ride has 7 cars (which would mean it holds 28 riders.) Not a big deal at all but it is killing the perfectionist in me...
  13. I'm definitely going back to SFNE next year for this. I personally think there is a good mix of inversions and airtime. I really can't wait to ride it. Awesome job RMC and SFNE!
  14. ^I think you go around twice. That's how it looks in the video.
  15. Looping Dragon looks like a decent addition. It'll really help to complete the Golden Kingdom area. Hopefully a true roller coaster will be coming in 2016.
  16. Oh my god... This looks amazing!! I absolutely love the layout. The high-five element looks so cool!
  17. Oh god those bathrooms were awful. The one furthest from the ocean had small holes in the walls too and you could see outside last time I was in it. Was Wonderland Pier closed while you were in Ocean City?
  18. ^That's really only during colder months. Yeah, it's slightly better in the afternoon, but it's still OMFG amazing in the morning during the summer.
  19. Awesome report! WoF looks like a really great park with a ton of both classic and modern attractions. The water park looks fantastic too.
  20. In 2012 I got about 20 new credits, going to parks such as Elitch Gardens, Lagoon, and Six Flags New England for the first time. However, usually I don't gain more than 10 credits a year.
  21. I would be fine if the new ride is a permanent model like Brain Drain at Elitches. Brain Drain looked really nice and the guests seemed to absolutely love it. It will give Great Adventure a new experience, hangtime on a loop, and will be a good step-up from the smaller coasters to the big B&M's. I'm guessing it will be located next to Zumanjaro's entrance as some work has begun on the ground there. Batman backwards doesn't really excite me too much... I can't imagine riding it and not getting sick. Also, I've seen Clementon Park market their Ring of Fire ride as a coaster, so it isn't just Six Flags doing that.
  22. ^Is the skyway only running one side now? I haven't seen it running two sides all season, even 8/10 when the line was out of the entrance on both sides of the park.
