  1. I've been on the FunCoaster 20 times in one day. I also have been on El Toro around 15 times in one day.
  2. 1. Phoenix at Knoebels 2. Thunderbolt at SFNE 3. Roller Coaster at Lagoon
  3. I barely went anywhere this year.... Six Flags Great Adventure FunPlex Knoebels Morey's Piers
  4. We can't forgot about The Great White... It has fantastic views of the beach.
  5. Many schools waited because they would have had off this Thursday anyways. The high schools are the only schools in my area of NJ who are starting tomorrow. The elementary and middle schools start Monday.
  6. 1. El Toro 2. Goliath 3. 4. Nitro 5. Sidewinder (Elitches)
  7. ^ Yeah, But most schools in the area haven't started yet.
  8. What? Why would you say that? That's not even funny...
  9. Stopped by Morey's today to get my Great White credit... I was expecting it to be packed but since most people were on the beach the park was empty... Too empty. I only rode Great White once, but I was incredibly underwhelmed. There were only 6 people on the train, so the coaster crawled. There were no forces, positive or negative. It was very smooth though... I wish I could have rode it again with a full train to see how much better it would be. But, I didn't feel like dishing out another $8 for it. (Hey, Phoenix only costed $2.50!) I had an awful time taking pictures of the ride. Since they were waiting for riders to show up dispatch times were awful. I spent about an hour taking pictures, and I don't think more than 5-6 trains went by. I think the SLC was closed, I never saw it run. Here's a couple of the pictures... I'll upload more later!
  10. Anyone see it testing today? Or even better yet with riders? Was trying to go tomorrow, this would be a nice surprise. El Toro has reopened.
  11. Suburbs of Philly, in New Jersey! -Within 30 miles of Great Adventure -About an hour and a half to boardwalk parks (and 45 minutes from nearest beach) -About an hour and a half to Coney Island -Less than an hour and a half to Dorney -2 hrs to Hershey -2.5 hrs to SFA -3hrs to Knoebels
  12. In other news... EL TORO WAS TESTING TODAY!!! Hopefully it will reopen soon!
  13. One of the positives of Rolling Thunder leaving is that the park has so much room to expand now. That entire area of the safari behind El Toro and Bizarro is not used and will be empty next season after the monkeys are moved into the theme park. And with the planned hotel now looking like it will go through I'm guessing the park will have an even higher attendance making larger expansions much more feasible.
  14. Looks like a very solid addition for SFA! And it's another reason for me to go back there next year.
  15. This is exciting! I can't believe how fast the gondolas will rise! I will try to make it to Rolling Thunder's last day. I'm not too happy to see it go. But, I'm sure the park has more plans for that space in the following years.
  16. ^All Six Flags parks are posting that exact same message. Even SFA, which is getting multiple rides.
  17. How is that weird? If I saw somebody walking up the exit I would be curious why too.
  18. ^ I rode it today... They must not have updated their site since the left side reopened.
  19. There were a good number of supports under Kingda Ka's tower, but I don't think there were any new ones since those pictures were taken a couple days ago... I really didn't have that great of a time at the park today. The customer service was absolutely horrible. When we got to the park at 10:20 the lines to get in were past the ticket booths. They also closed off the Premium Passholder lines after 10:35 saying that they were only supposed to be open for ten minutes. What's the point of that? First ride was Kingda Ka. Two trains were running. A couple trains before riding Ka broke down. It only took 25 or so minutes to reopen though. Next was Green Lantern. The line was down the stairs... And right after we got in line a train got stuck on the MCBR. It took almost 40 minutes to reopen. For some reason I waited. By the time we got off Superman's line was probably close to 1.5hrs. Walking across the park Batman's line was outside. I'm not sure if any switchbacks were being used, but only one train appeared to be running. (They could have just been stacking horribly with two though, but I'm guessing they only had one running.) We skipped it and waited almost half an hour to Nitro. The operators double stacked every single time. The ride was a little shaky... We took the skyway across to Rolling Thunder. The right side still hasn't reopened. The ride was running really well!! I was really surprised! The operators were bad. Really bad. After Rolling Thunder we finished with a ride on Bizarro. Yes, they double stacked. No fire either. The safari's line was almost to the log flumes entrance... And yes, trucks were stacked outside the station.
  20. Bizarro is not going anywhere. The park has confirmed this multiple times.
  21. Somebody over at great adventure history reported teal supports under Kingda Ka... I will take pictures on Sunday if this is true.
  22. Look at this lovely Top Fun Wild Mouse! That thing looks brutal.
  23. 1st was Bubbles Coaster at Storybook Land 50th was Phoenix at Knoebels
