I rode SORA for the first time today. The line was 80 minutes long (we got in line a little before noon), and the ride was 45 minutes long (We didn't get off at Camp Aventura.) I was really pleased by the ride. We were on a road most of the time, and the driving through water was very gimmicky, but seeing tons of animals made up for it. Our guide knew a lot about the animals and seemed very passionate about her job. Our driver did not stop at all though. It would have been nice to stop for a couple seconds when they were pointing out animals so we could take pictures. I also think they should have given out tickets that said come back at a certain time instead of having everyone wait in line. Overall a great addition, but it could use some more work.

I was at the park for over 6 hours, and the wristband wasn't worth it. Also, a front seat ride on Phoenix is amazing. It is definitely worth the longer wait! And you shouldn't miss Fandango either. That was one of my favorite rides in the park. Enjoy your visit! -

Superman at Great Adventure last night. -
I had no clue about the concerts this weekend, so when I went to the park last night I was shocked. There were tons of people using drugs in the bathrooms, and I saw quite a few people smoking joints... One person was smoking weed while in line for Nitro. I'm not sure if security saw. Operations were pathetic, the worst I have ever seen at Great Adventure. Rolling Thunder was stacking for at least five minutes after every single ride. Bizarro was double stacking constantly too. Even Nitro, which had 4 attendants checking, was double stacking. At Dark Knight, they almost always had to stop the cars from leaving the station because the attendants had not checked lap bars yet. On a few good notes, Nitro had no trims on until the MCBR. The ride seemed to fly! I have never gotten so much airtime on that ride. Rolling Thunder was also running well too. The only really rough part was the hills after the turnaround. Ride Count: Dark Knight 1x Rolling Thunder 1x Bizarro 1x Nitro 1x Green Lantern 1x Superman 1x (No wait... Rode right as park was closing.) I was also shocked to see Kingda Ka have an almost full queue right before closing, when Superman and Green Lantern were dispatching partially empty trains.

I had an AMAZING time at Knoebels yesterday. Phoenix (rode 4x) was fantastic. The airtime in the front row was unbelievable. Phoenix was also my 50th coaster. Twister was also a great ride... We rode it three times. It was much better in the back. Black Diamond was weird. A fun ride, but not much of a coaster. Onto the flats, Stratosfear was amazing. Each time we rode it seemed to get better and better. Fandango was also really, really fun. The other standout was the scenic skyride. It was a blast. I have never been so scared on a ride, expecially when it stopped us at the very top. The log flume was also quite good, although I came off soaked. I also loved the parks atmosphere. It was so calm compared to other parks. All of the employees (and guests too) were incredibly kind. There was no line jumping or rowdiness at all. Even though the park was very busy, lines were under 20 minutes all day, even with Phoenix's line spilling out of the entrance. In a way the park really reminded me of Lagoon... Lightning fast dispatches on the coasters with a great flat selection. Lagoon even has a campground too! A looping coaster... Maybe even a clone of Wicked would be great for the park. After all, Wicked is a great family ride and they even have booster seats lowering the height restriction even more. I can't wait to go back again! -

Are there any rides that require tickets even if you have the wristband/hand stamp? -

Best Buy's standard shipping is awful. You would think that when you pay for an item that costs almost $100 it wouldn't take almost two weeks to get to you.
