I also think it looks like s much more complete ride compared to other dives. I think it's gonna be pretty good. -
What Was the Last Beer You Drank?
anonymouscactus replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
In Virginia for the weekend and first had this at the brew place at Busch Gardens last year. Unfortunately only two ciders on tap today. Found a shop nearby which sold tons of single ciders so we stocked up on 16 varieties -- so this will be my treat tonight! Yeah yeah don't make fun of me. -
Oh, A.J., I am well aware... I was just referring to someone in the SFA thread who is completely delusional in the power of Fortnite and won't stop posting about how profitable it would be, where they could build it, etc. Hell, I don't know anything about it, or care to know for that matter, but I know it's not going to have any sort of power against Star Wars.... lol. Please no more Fortnite discussion, I should have never brought it up lol. Go get your fix in the SFA thread

*in before "ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY RAAHHRRR"* Personally I think it's awesome, and as Bill said, literally nothing is changing or impacting the normal daytime experience. NOTHING! It now gives people who want to go in the evening or would only be making a one or two park purchase instead of planning a whole vacation around the parks an opportunity at a new way to experience Disney. There is literally nothing to complain about and in many cases it's a much better value compared to a $155 peak day ticket. Yes it's less time but you can do so much in that little time. The one "free" villain event they had previously at Hollywood Studios was so chaotic and most couldn't even get into the park that day with the traffic (myself included), so this is the perfect way to do it. I don't remember how many times they tried doing that, but I know it was ridiculous the one year and people were waiting 2+ hours for a photo with a random character because by the time they waited for who they wanted they had already switched out for someone else. lol I did after-hours for Animal Kingdom I would totally do the same at MK... and getting the villains bonuses is even better.

That's the first time I've seen that on-ride animation/video of the Tower of Terror... that is so cool!! lol @ the shirts, I let out a big UGGHHH Good stuff. I didn't notice any of the lights you speak of when I went, but I did find it hard to navigate the area by myself because I went to the after hours event and have never even seen the area in the daylight, and then compound that it's a private event with practically nobody on the midways, I kept getting lost and had no idea if certain paths were for guests or not... lol oh well. -

Enthusiasts can't deal with the vest restraints, or anything that's not RMC, I guess. My theory anyway. I'm really excited for it; this is looking to be the best dive coaster to date, and having it so close to me is another plus 8) I think the other part of it is we just received more winter weather last night so coaster season isn't on our minds just yet. lol. But that's why some of us are going to drive to Virginia this weekend... -
Hey Robb, I was looking to sign up to Club TPR but it appears that none of the content is showing properly and the tabs aren't doing anything on https://www.clubtpr.com . I've tried http and https. I've only tried from my phone in chrome (mobile and desktop mode) because I don't have any other options right now. Is there a direct link somewhere to go directly to signup page? I guess this is just an FYI that it's not working for me right, but if there is something I'm missing or doing wrong, let me know. Thanks! Edit: I found the direct link to sign up so I think we're good, I'll try it out later https://www.clubtpr.com/register.php

I don't know if this was mentioned / if it was linked to from the official page listed above, but this official park video is awesome. The drone footage starting at the 2:00 mark is INSANE. It's a few days old so I apologize if it's buried within one of the links. Edit: oh, now I see, the video on the page linked above is a playlist not an individual video. This one definitely had the craziest shots. It doesn't look real.

Haunted Swings & Mad House Things!
anonymouscactus replied to Nrthwnd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm familiar with the Vekoma(?) Mad House... Houdini, etc. --- are these a similar concept but on a much smaller scale? I have not seen these before? Sounds like a Google search is in order... -

So... anyone going to talk about the elephant in the room? Orrrr... not allowed out of respect for the park... which is completely understandable. Really, though, I'm excited that the park is getting a screamin swing as they are one of the few flat rides I actually enjoy 8) Anyways, back to the re-ride flash pass benefits discussion, the absolute worst was my friends and I had Platinum and we ALL waited for the front seat on Kingda Ka. So two trains back to back we stayed on, oh man the tension in the station... lol, made sure not to make eye contact with anyone after that one... almost didn't want to take the second ride. I totally forgot Busch had a similar thing, I'm shocked they still honor it, even sometimes. Even working at SWO I think it was probably removed at one point during my tenure from the handbooks and I honestly think I remember like 4 or 5 people EVER use it in the 4 years I worked the coasters. People used it for the SHOWS all the time, though.
