This really sucks. I was hoping to ride it again when I came back to OH and compare it to Tatsu (the only other flying coaster I've ridden...) but... oh well. I hope it actually gets reconstructed somewhere where I can ride it and get another opinion... I mean, I've only ridden X-Flight twice, and both times it made me dizzy beyond belief; I think the first time I had to sit down for an hour afterwards (maybe because it was my first flying coaster). And what is GL going to do with all that parking space they killed to build X-Flight in the first place? Expand the water park AGAIN? ....Meh, I'm just sad to see it go, I guess. (I really wanted to go back and ride it again... now it will require more flying, trip planning, etc.) -amanda

I tried going today; we ended up leaving at about 2:00. Freefall was busted again (there were mechanics actually pushing it back into the station after the drop) and Orient Express wasn't working, although I kept seeing people go in and out of the booth. We managed to get on Tatsu twice with Flash Pass (the line was going down the hill with both sides of the station and 2 trains going), front row on Riddler, Goliath, Ninja, Superman, and Circus Wheel. Every time I try to go on a holiday, it's always jammed. Rrrgh.

Holy crap... I had no idea there were CASINOS on cruise ships. That makes me want to go on one even more! Cool TR, looks like you guys are having a great time!

But they were just AT Ikea and didn't come up with anything...

From another SFMM perspective... ... Maybe a week after I first heard that things were changing, I hit the park. It was clean, rides ran efficiently with multiple trains, all the food stands were open, etc. Almost immediately after that it went downhill, with a few peaks. It seemed to me that the only time SFMM ran like it should was when they knew Shapiro or some bigwigs, potential buyers, etc. were going to be there. And believe me, I've been to the park enough times this year to know. As for right now, NOTHING has changed. It's gone full circle. The park is understaffed, half the rides were closed (literally) the last time I was there, X was busted which jammed the rest of the park, garbage was just left in places, the employees that WERE there seemed to be only concerned with staying their whole shift so they could get paid and nothing else... oh, and Tatsu's a story in itself. Ugh. Bring on another owner, hopefully it will stay an amusement park with someone that will fix it for real... I guess Shapiro should have stuck to football. -amanda

Whoops, I forgot to reply to this. My most recent credit whore victim: the West Coaster in Santa Monica, CA, 10/21/06. This was rather rough, and boring. The video preview (you could buy a DVD afterwards, stupid LA) showed me just saying to my significant other, "man, this is going to be lame"... make your own conclusions there. ROFL

I walk about three blocks to work, which takes me about 15 minutes. (And yes, I would drive if I knew how).
