I have a tie between Jessica Simpson and Jillian Barberie (sp?), this news chick on Channel 7 here in L.A. They are both SO FREAKING UGLY, and guys drool all over them! How can someone possibly consider that hot?! I'm sick of looking at them; plus, they're both really annoying! -Amanda "Ugh!" V.

They probably are; so are the trash cans... I remember watching the movie "Rollercoaster" a few weeks ago and going, "OMFG, they still have the same trash cans..." The superhero thing is going to look weird. I mean, Chicken Plantation was trashed (and why it was still on the map the past 4 years, I have no idea), but... I too think it's going to look a little too bright and out-of-place (unless they update/repaint the stuff around it: Freshers Lemonade, WB Kids Club, that little kids store near it, etc.) Plus it better not be a distraction when I'm trying to time shooting water bombs at people on Log Jammer. (By the way, the white and red cannons shoot best!) Oh well... any change is good that improves MM, I guess. I'm going to try and make it out either next Monday or Friday for sure; all these updates are making me want to do one!

Didn't they just do that, like, last month? Ugh.... actually, that sounds better than the 18 groups that were there the last time I tried to go on a Saturday... ...Well, there goes that idea...(I was actually considering going tomorrow) but now, I don't know.

This ride has the potential to be really cool; I hope it is. On the other hand, Duff Gardens WOULD have been great instead of Krusty's envisioned park, whatever it may be. Corkscrew at Geauga Lake. Not only was it my first coaster EVER, it's still one of my favorites... and yes, I consider it gone because I don't think I'll ever make it to India just to ride it again.

Casino The Aviator Sideways Mullholland Drive Paper Moon The Sand Pebbles Black Dahlia The Island The River's Edge (part of this movie was filmed in the city where I live, Tujunga, CA) Jade ... I can't think of any more right now.

I would say, go Friday. More people have work and school that day. From my experience, shorter lines are better. More time is more time, but it's about the same if you're stuck waiting in long lines.

It looks like a one-off, someone's idea of a joke... I tried typing in several other odd directions (Los Angeles to Tokyo, Los Angeles to Hawaii) and it said that it couldn't give directions. Pretty amusing though.

So wait.. no more Asian music up on Samurai Summit anymore? That sucks. I haven't even been there with the new music yet, and already I have a feeling that I liked the themed music better. The only exception was when I was riding Ninja about 2 years ago... in a fluke, the TV's were working, and they were playing a Muse video, which was totally cool. Otherwise, I hope I'm not walking around with my fingers in my ears all day (by the way, how loud is this new music?)

How many people are actually still on Spring Break? I actually took a day off work to go today, which ended in futility. Here is one picture I took while we were turning around to leave that describes the situation; I have NEVER seen SFMM that jammed. No thanks. Holy crud, look at those ticket lines!

Cool update... I never manage to get as much detail in my TR's as Jahan does. I'm going to try and go on Wednesday... I'll see if I can put an update together, or at least, a Photo TR.

Tuesdays, AFTER Spring Break (meaning the week after this coming week.. until about June 10th or so is a good time to go. Do NOT go on a weekend. Here in SoCal, people tend to go "Oh, I'll just take a Friday or Monday off and take my kids to SFMM"..... WRONG. It just crowds up the park, even if the water park does open up in a few weeks. I have tried going on the last few Saturdays before spring break and it has just been a constant jam of church groups, kids, and school groups as far away as Mexico. The last time I tried going on a Sunday I forgot it was Presidents Day and we got pretty much the same thing ("ooh, I want to go on THE (insert SFMM ride name here)!!omfgbbq!) So I would suggest, coming between April 15 and the middle of june so you don't get too sharded. (Hey, don't kill my plan for April 11th!) -amanda
