Depending on when you go, both routes take about the same amount of time... we've gone both ways [...hehe], and haven't found much difference. It's usually between five and six hours each way.

At least they've kinda got something working out for them Obviously, with AdEx being the only coaster worthy of going on at that park!

Great TR! I laughed at quite a few captions, which is something I don't normally do. The napkin with the line jumpers was probably my favourite part, but I really liked the trash can through a trash can. I believe that you did the right thing - to an extent. Alerting the CM, which I can only assume is a line monitor-type person, to the situation was a positive step, and that, I commend you for. It's far too easy for people to stay silent and allow line-jumping to occur. It's good that you brought it to the attention of someone who is supposed to deal with such an issue. However, getting into an yelling argument with a 13yr old girl is kind of going over the edge. The simple thing for you to do would've been to just back off and let the line-monitor deal with the situation, not make it worse by making it a public spectacle. It sucks that she was angry enough to make a scene about it, but for you to respond in kind just makes you seem immature. By no means do I think you should've kept quiet about the situation. I believe that alerting someone who is paid to deal with such instances was a very good move on your part. I just think that engaging in a yelling match with a tween was probably not a very ideal thing to do. Edit: Oh, and I think that the CM was out of line in not telling the girl to get out of line when she began yelling profanity in a queue filled with children.

I liked Darien Lake's version... it's certainly no SFNE version but it was still fun. I don't remember it being vibraty or rough, either. I haven't been on SFA's so I can't compare, though.

Busch Gardens Europe has better scenery and is a lot more beautiful... and has a better "atmosphere". Busch Gardens Africa has better coasters - though with the addition of Griffon, perhaps this will change.

I've been on... -- SkyRider [PCW] -- Shockwave [PKI] -- Iron Wolf [sFGAm] -- Mantits [CP] -- Chang [sFKK] -- Green piece of ass [La Ronde] edit: Oh, it's called Cobra Chang was my favourite... followed by Mantis, Cobra, SkyRider, Iron Wolf and Shockwave. Yeah. Chang and Mantis are the only ones worth a re-ride, and Chang I thought was far superior to Mantis.

Can't say I'm disappointed or surprised by this. We thought it was somewhat of a hole when we visited a couple of years ago... it was dead [on a weekend in August], there were very few employees there - and we had to search and wait for almost 20 minutes just to find someone to sell us ride tickets! Blue Streak was enjoyable enough but only for the novelty value, not because it was a particularly thrilling coaster. And to anyone saying that some "rich guy" needs to come and buy it and sink millions into refurbishing - why? It would be a stupid business move. Why waste millions of dollars on a park that is already so in debt and losing so much money? It's a dumb thing to do! I do hope someone will find a way to save Blue Streak and perhaps move it to a new location, but I'm not holding out too much hope.

That's stupid. You guys know that, amazingly, Enterprises are NOT the only rides that can catch fire? Any ride can catch on fire! So does that mean you're going to stop riding everything? And hey, sometimes, HOUSES catch on fire?! You better get out while you still can!!! No, that wouldn't be funny. In any context! Fail.

Legend and Raven at Holiday World There are others but I don't know that I'd consider them "overrated"... Volcano [liked it but had an awful ending], Storm Runner [liked it but it was way too short], Great Bear [interesting but didn't really do much]. But Raven was considered a top three coaster by so many, and I thought it was fun but wasn't top ten worthy. Legend is considered by some to be BETTER than Raven, and I thought that was a really boring, rough coaster with little positive upside.

Knoebels Holiday World I am willing and probably will end up going back to both parks, so maybe my mind will be changed.

Looks like it's a lot of fun, but not something that will shatter anyone's top ten lists or anything. It also appears to have a LOT of speed left when it enters the brakes. Maybe we WILL venture up there this year to ride it...
