  1. Looks like Nikki and I were the outcasts at Kennywood That would be our own fault, I suppose! Hey, there's always next time! We got to meet some of you guys though, Derek, Robb and Elissa, Dave and Mary, Ted and Catrina, Mateo, and Erik Johnson! And of course seeing Micole and Paul again is also awesome. I also am quite certain I heard a "GO JAYS" as I walked through the gathering outside of Phantom's Revenge - I'm assuming that was one of the Hooters crew! Can't wait to read everyone's TRs!
  2. Raptor is mine, I think... and the main reason is because I can remember everything it does after the MCBR, and how awesome it is. I'm sure other B&Ms I've been on are good after the MCBR, but Raptor's the only one I can remember exactly how awesome it is. And finally I get to ride it again in a month!
  3. Hey, nice TR! 'Twas nice to meet you and Catrina!
  4. This is both good and bad. Score for great weather, uh, not score for more crowds due to great weather!
  5. Your plot may be good enough, but your dialogue sucks. Get to work on that, now!
  6. Can I call it, or what?! Figures, though - I've been watching every boring, awful Giants game for the past couple of weeks, and I finally turn my TV to another channel to pay more attention to a movie I'm watching instead, and I miss the homer by about 20 seconds.
  7. Great TR so far! Mt Olympus is such a fun place, and with Hades, Cyclops, and Avalanche, it's full of agonizingly awesome rollercoasters, too. Keep up the great work and keep having an awesome time!
  8. As will we! Great TR so far I believe I have a much more vested interest in reading everyone's different TRs from this trip than the Spain trip for some reason.
  9. ^ But are you a "dood"? 307 is three numbers.
  10. So Darien Lake is going to have two inverted coasters? Or am I missing something? Predator looks really nice in layout-form, it's too bad that it rides so awfully... awfully? Or would that be "awful"?
  11. Exactly. I personally will be watching him go for the record, but more for history's sake than because I give two shits about him as a player. He comes off as a complete prick, talks down to everyone, from what I've heard is a piss-poor teammate and always has a "me first" attitude, will not hesitate to put the blame for his problems on another person, coach, or teammate, etc etc. If he was a nice guy and still had all these steroid shenanigans surrounding him, people would be more forgiving - not likely to completely ignore the accusations of steroid use/abuse, but more likely to forgive him for it. But he's not a nice guy, so this is all moot anyway. He'll break it tomorrow night.
  12. It's one thing to say that you don't follow another sport [which is fine], but to say that a sport "sucks" because you don't like it is pretty closed-minded.
  13. He hasn't done much yet, but from what I've heard he's a decent wrestler with some skill on the mat. Not nearly as good a talker as his father, but at least one can understand what he's saying. WWE has big plans for him, largely due to the bloodlines but at least hopefully in some part due to his talent.
  14. More Hurricanes fans on this board than Leafs fans?! NHL: Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators... and then I "like" a bunch of other teams, like Buffalo, Minnesota, Atlanta [those blue jerseys turn me on], San Jose, and to a lesser extent Pittsburgh. Also Alexander Ovechkin. MLB: Toronto Blue Jays NBA: Toronto Raptors I don't follow NFL much - I just started last year [when I joined an NFL pool]. I correctly predicted [randomly guessed] a Colts Super Bowl victory about a week into the season [thanks to me having both Harrison and REGGIE WAYNE in my pool]. I suppose the Cowboys and Colts would be the closest thing to teams I cheer for. I hate NCAA sports because I think it's stupid for Canadians to put stock into watching American colleges while shunning their own like they were the plague.
  15. Jesus, that is a LOT of people! And to think, you'll all get the pleasure of meeting me next weekend at KW!
  16. This is just wrong! Stop these shenanigans! We want real pics
  17. Annual raises are awesome! This guy is nuts. I've wanted to go postal on employees before though... he's livin' the dream!
  18. Go Jays I've seen only four teams so far this year - but that number will hopefully hit ten after a trip in September to Miller Park in Milwaukee [brewers/Reds], Metrodome in Minnesota [Twins/Rangers], and the Jake in Cleveland [indians/Tigers]! I saw Boston earlier this year in Toronto, Dice-K got outdueled by - to be honest, I forget :S - and the Red Sox lost 2-1 Nice TR, Fenway looks like such a crazy place. Glad you guys took that black hole of suck Eric Hinske from us, too!
  19. It's between 86 and 90F here and will be all week
  20. I see no reason for this to turn into a religious debate, from either side. It's basically - follow the park's posted safety rules that you should've known about when you entered the park, or don't ride the rides. It's an open and shut case from this guy's point of view.
  21. KENNYWOOD on the 11th of August!
  22. This is awful and sets a bad precedent for future incidents. It's one thing for Wonderland to respect the man's religion, but if he cannot safely ride the go-karts or any other ride with the turban, then he should not be allowed to. He should respect the park's safety rules as the park should respect his religious rights. If he were to have been allowed to ride without a helmet, and suffered a head injury, who would be at fault? It would be Wonderland's fault for allowing him to ride without the proper safety equipment. This is crap.
  23. Because humans haven't found a way to turn their "natural" gas into usable fuel yet. Why is this book full of awesome stories that seem to be completely unfinished?
