  1. I actually kind of liked White Cyclone.
  2. Glad to see that the more exotic flavors of popcorn are starting to show up in the U.S. Disney parks--African spice and apricot sound pretty good.
  3. ^Here's one thing I miss about living the in Central Valley of California--linguica pizza. Just can't get that in Virginia.
  4. I haven't eaten at a Round Table Pizza since I was in high school. Used to like them, but didn't know they were still in business.
  5. ^No worries. It was an interesting concept, though.
  6. I'm not a big fan of the Minions (although I like Gru), but they've done a good job in redressing the old simulator ride.
  7. You have my congratulations for surviving multiple rides on an SLC--probably the toughest go of it anyone in Coasting for Kids had on that day.
  8. I have trouble getting interested in the Spider-man "reboot" no matter how good it is. My biggest objection is having, once again, to sit through an "origin" story. That being said, I wouldn't mind if they rebooted the Fantastic Four, because they botched that one almost completely (with the exception of the Thing).
  9. ^What would getting an Intamin "every four years" have to do with not getting another Intamin later? It seems the park has been pretty happy with their Intamin rides so far.
  10. You're hitting Funderland in Sacramento? My brother lives in that neighborhood (Land Park).
  11. I'm not even 100% convinced on that TBH...Will the ride be that amazing and popular in the long term to warrant the effort. It would give them something unique.
  12. Here we see the Order of St. Luthor during a typical visit to the park. They're also praying for the original lapbars to be restored to Revolution.
  13. This Park Inn near Harrisburg isn't far from Hersheypark, and you can get good deals there via Hotwire: http://www.parkinn.com/hotel-harrisburgwestpa
  14. ^But let's not forget his seminal role as a horny business executive playing "scooter trash," along with Capt. Kirk and Mr. Brady, in 1974's Pray for the Wildcats. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAB3KD2jyMU
  15. We need to bring a 416-foot tape measure to SFMM for media day.
  16. Sounds like the perfect time to visit Knott's then.
  17. I'm a fan of the Premier launched shuttles, so I hope Beto Carrero can get Chiller up and running again. It was closed for good by the time I made it to Great Adventure. Of course, it's rather unlikely that I'll ride it in its new location, either--but who knows?
  18. Hitting yourself in the head with a hammer would be prefereable to riding an SLC, too--but only slightly.
  19. I would love to see this ride open someday, but I wonder if Knoebels is learning the hard way why no one has built one of these in, oh, the last 50 years? That being said, I hope they succeed--Knoebels is a great park.
  20. So we could sit and watch all the people on the bridge whining when it's closed? You can hear the wind and creaking sounds effects they use on the bridge pretty clearly, too.
  21. That's a cool angle. I wonder why they made the switch?
