California Proposition 8 Overturned!

I'm completely neutral on gay marriage (I don't give a crap whether or not they marry), but yeah, this subject is WAY to touchy for my taste. -

If this place does end up closing, I hope it's after the 2011 season (I was planning on going there summer 2011) -
TOP 5 B&M INVERTED COASTERS
Band-Aid replied to CoasterExpert13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Talon 2. Alpengeist 3. Great Bear 4. Montu 5. Dragon Challenge (both sides are equally as good to me) -
Go to Knoebel's for the first half, then be at Dorney around 6 (it closes at 9-10 and thats when it's least crowded), since you have platinum passes anyway. Plus, Steel Force is a great coaster, so definitely try Dorney

That's gotta be one of the most pathetic kiddie coasters I have ever seen.

Knoebel's. Not only is it a great, small family park with some of the best rides and coasters anywhere, it's also probably the most affordable park out there (in terms of ride admission, food, and cottage and campsite rentals).

In Universal, I don't know about Dragon Challenge, but I know that the Hulk has some "big boy" seats towards the middle -

^I've learned not to take recommendations from anybody about rides anyway. Mainly because I often go on rides that are highly rated which I ended up hating (Example: Bizarro at SFGAdv) and rides that are rated lower which I ended up loving (Example: Disaster Transport at Cedar Point). I mainly respect him as a veteran enthusiast, not for recommendations.

Whats the moat random thing you have ever purchased
Band-Aid replied to zaneymon's topic in Random, Random, Random
A Simpson racing helmet. I don't own a racecar, or a motorcycle, or anything that requires such protection for the head (it's too over-the-top for a bicycle). But hey, it was only $5 at a yard sale, good condition, and looks pretty badass! Here's a pic of it- -

What is your favorite Roller Coaster?
Band-Aid replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I rarely bring my camera with me to parks, so I don't have pictures to post. WOOD: El Toro Close runner-ups: Phoenix Cyclone (Coney Island) STEEL: Millenium Force Close runner-ups: Talon Steel Force (nostalgic reasons) -
I love those guys as well! Also, I listen to 96.5, which is classic rock in Central Florida. And 102.7 for the John Boy and Billy show in the mornings, these guys are hysterical!

If Monster Trucks count as auto racing, then count me in.
