Band-Aid replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
WOOD: 1. El Toro (Back seat, otherwise it wouldn't be #1) 2. Phoenix 3. Coney Island Cyclone 4. Twister 5. Cheetah (guilty pleasure...) 6. Jack Rabbit (Kennywood) 7. Lightning Racers (both sides) 8. Thunderbolt 9. Racer 10. Big Dipper (Geauga Lake) ...:c STEEL: 1. Millennium Force 2. Apollo's Chariot 3. Ride of Steel (Darien Lake) 4. Kingda Ka (Overrated, I know, but it's still pretty damn exhilarating) 5. Manta 6. Maverick 7. Dragon Mountain 8. Steel Force 9. Magnum XL-200 10. Big Bad Wolf ...:c -
Unanswered/Dumb Question-Dumb Answer game
Band-Aid replied to Angry_Gumball's topic in Random, Random, Random
Because that would make too much sense. Since there is no up and down in space, why is it that in Wall-E that when the ship tipped over, the people slid? -
Try a membership at Planet Fitness. It's only $10 a month and it's "judgment-free" (meaning that the douchers that criticize others for not being as strong will not be there)

What did the robot say to the centipede? It said "Stop being a centipede", because the robot ain't got no arms.

Parks Coasters and Rides in Movies and TV
Band-Aid replied to spike's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World", you can see the Long Beach amusement park (changed audio)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQSc-7-LQdo Alpengeist in an older Pepsi commercial- -
When I was at Knoebel's, I actually asked a ride attendant if cameras were allowed. She said that they didn't have a problem with it.

I just remembered, if this counts, in around 2002, my brother was chosen to be on the Nickelodeon show Slime Time Live (which was filmed at Universal). I met the hosts of the show, and I met Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys, who was making a guest appearance (I was 8, and I didn't know who he was until years later). And no, my brother didn't get slimed.

People who think they s**t gold piss me off. What I mean is, whenever I go to a yard sale in the more upper class area of my town, I usually come across people who price things INSANELY high. This one time for example, a woman was trying to sell a Gamecube with 7 games (not even big-ticket games) for $125 (this was recent too). I told her that it was priced extremely high, and she accused me of trying to rip her off. WTF EDIT: she even posted it on Craigslist http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/vgm/1837754461.html

Theme Park Monsters Cop It For Being Scary
Band-Aid replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
...LOL. I feel sorry for the scare actors though. -
The boat chute looks awesome.

Thunderhawk at Dorney- Despite being dwarfed by Steel Force, and the trims towards the end, it's a fun and fast paced ride. Windstorm at Fun Spot- Given, there are copies of this, but damn, that second drop is a doozy! Viper at Darien Lake- Sure, it has some headbanging, but the awesome layout makes up for it. Dragon Mountain at Marine Land- Mostly smooth Arrow looper with 2 long tunnels, a large helix, the only Bowtie element on a coaster, a great view from on top of a mountain, and one of the best themed stations I have ever seen! Disaster Transport at Cedar Point- I actually found this to be a very fun and well themed ride. Cheetah at Wild Adventures- EXTREMELY ROUGH. But I enjoyed it.

...Big Thunder Mountain is considered a train ride, and not a roller coaster? -
Celebrities at theme parks
Band-Aid replied to chickenbowl's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Before they became extremely famous , Fall Out Boy was signing autographs at Darien Lake, so I got their autographs for my cousin. (Infinity on High JUST came out before this) Also, Steven Anthony Lawrence (Beans on Even Stevens) was signing autographs at Wild Adventures -
