  1. I was playing Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 until SSB 3DS came in the mail yesterday. I am loving kicking ass as the Villager from Animal Crossing!
  2. Batwing at SFA because the vest part of the restraint was so loose that I thought I was going to fall out. I told the ride op about it, and they just shrugged and didn't care. Honorable mention to the Flying Scooters at Conneaut Lake.
  3. Sometimes those shin guards can hurt your legs, especially if the bar is pushed down farther than it needs to be. That's what happened to me on a few of my rides on it. Still, I wouldn't call it rough.
  4. The one at Cedar Point isn't that great, either. Plus, it's too expensive. When I'm at Knott's (and CP), Pinks is easily the last place I want to eat.
  5. For me.... 1. New England 2. Great Adventure 3. Over Georgia 4. Mexico 5. Magic Mountain 6. St. Louis 7. Great Escape 8. America 9. Over Texas I had exceptionally good visits to New England and Magic Mountain, and I had an exceptionally horrible visit to Over Texas. If I had to add in the former Worlds of Adventure park, I'd probably put it right at the top.
  6. Crossbow - Bowcraft Playland
  7. There better be one damn nice prize.
  8. Is it one of the Butterfly coasters spread across Europe?
  9. They both have kiddie coasters that adults aren't allowed to ride. Marineland and Dollywood
  10. I'm really glad all of those decorations aren't going to waste. I simply hate unnecessary waste.
  11. ^ This is very true! I remember riding their Flying Scooters and hoping that the cables wouldn't break! Although, that airtime off the first drop of Blue Streak is definitely an "oh sh*t" moment. Same goes for Lakemont's Skyliner.
  12. The Phantom's queue has been changed a lot since the days of the old Steel Phantom. The old queue entrance was located farther down from where it is now. Its old location is now occupied by several vending machines and a mister. The area they have/are using as overflow is an area that was used for Coney Island-esque sideshows back in 1998 to celebrate the 100th year of the park. During 1999 and 2000, it was just a paved area with a few benches that you could enter and exit through the current Phantom entrance. Just a few fun facts about it for everyone who enjoys them.
  13. It's a secret code that shows corporate opinion of the attraction! Ask the Dippin' Dots guy about it; he/she'll explain it to you. Why did Cedar Fair turn around all of their backwards coasters?
  14. X-Flight - Six Flags Ohio/Worlds of Adventure/Geauga Lake
  15. ^^ I've seen that queue completely full, too. I'm not sure if they still do it or not, but I swear they used it as a Haunt in the past.
  16. False The person below has been to Tokyo Disney.
  17. Dueling Dragons - Fire A Schwarzkopf that used to be on the fair circuit.
  18. I remember when Phantom's Revenge first opened, they built a huge queue for it. During it's entire opening season, I don't ever remember it being less than full. A few years later, they removed about half of it because they never needed the excess. I don't even think I've seen what they've left full. I believe the longest I've ever seen it is to the bottom of the ramp at the beginning of the bridge, and that's only on a really busy day.
  19. May When was the last time you visited a Cedar Fair park?
  20. True The person below me enjoys SLCs.
  21. "Weird Al" Yankovic last June at the Meadows Casino and Racetrack in Washington, PA. As always, he put on a fantastic show. We were dead center and close enough to the stage to get a really great view of his audience interactions. He came within 15 feet of us! It was pretty amazing. I tried to get tickets for the Paul McCartney show in Pittsburgh in June, but they sold out before I could get one.
  22. Raton Loco - La Feria Chapultepec Magico, Mexico
  23. I've been riding coasters for 20 years now, and the only hiatus I've ever had is over the typical off season. Nowadays, I think the most I go without is two or three months. However, I recently moved to an area where we have an all-season alpine coaster. So, off season be damned!
