  1. Let's see...four clones, Knight Flight, Batwing, two Dark Knight mice, the floorless Dark Knight, and the SLC. If you count the villains: Catwoman's Whip, Two Face, Riddler's, and Joker. The best would have to be Knight Flight, even if it is Dominator now. Worst would definitely be Batwing.
  2. ^ Kennywood has been getting busier over the last few years. There are many days when it will get slammed. If you want a park that's always empty, go to Conneaut Lake. Of course...that place has got one foot in the grave as it is.
  3. I rode Maelstrom back in January, and I thought it was extremely mediocre. From the description, I thought it would be a fantastic ride, but ended up walking away disappointed. I'm interested to see what they come up with.
  4. Outlaw Run hands down. I've been on NTAG and it's excellent, but the operations on it completely ruin it for me.
  5. I really enjoyed Scream as well. It is a bit rougher than Bizarro, but maybe it's because I really like floorless coasters. I thought Riddler's was one of the smoothest stand ups I've ever been on. It's definitely my favorite of them all.
  6. Don't threaten to beat up the ride op and sue the park just because the coaster you were just on broke down for a few minutes. I saw this happen at SFNE on Flashback. Although...maybe GP SHOULD do this because it was hilarious to watch security escort him out.
  7. I've never had much trouble with Raptor, either. I always thought it was smoother than the Batman clones.
  8. I did 35 laps on Skyliner at Lakmont back in 2010. Probably about 30-40 on Leviathan during Leviathan bash. As a kid, I would ride Loch Ness Monster at least 20 times in a row.
  9. Yeah, you're pretty much screwed when it comes to food there. I would only buy a FP here if the crowd is high (which it probably won't be). Just go to Batwing first and everything else should be a walk on or a short wait.
  10. ^^ That's awesome! I've ridden Apollo's Chariot many times, and I honestly don't remember hearing it. Even though it's not a coaster, I love the track played on Lex Luthor.
  11. Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood Millennium Force at Cedar Point (my "home away from home" park!)
  12. SFOT is pretty strict about loose articles, if I remember correctly. I also don't recall many lockers around either. It's just one of the many things that makes SFOT extremely irritating (even for Six Flags).
  13. X2 the other day at WCB. Smacked my head really hard against the seat on the last raven turn, and now I can barely turn my neck!
  14. Hydra is definitely a great floorless coaster, IMO. The only problem is that I've lost probably $10 in change on that damn jojo roll.
  15. I could go with some of the obvious ones here (i.e. Green Lantern, Son of Beast, Boomerangs, etc.), but I think the absolute worst was Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis. I was in the magic seat and it was still incredibly awful. The worst part was it was my #300, so I always have to remember the experience!
  16. As much as I love Noah's Ark, it's in horrible shape right now. I honestly don't think it's received any maintenance since Parques Reunidos (or as I like to call them Park Ruiners) took over the place. I don't understand how it's the number one walk through anymore. Also, glad to see Idlewild is the number one kids park again. It's an excellent "starting ground" for kids!
  17. 1: Rollo Coaster at Idlewild 50: Lightning Racer at Hersheypark 100: Ricochet at Carowinds 150: Batman the Ride at Six Flags Great Adventure 200: Superman el Ultimo Escape at Six Flags Mexico 250: Fly the Great Nor'easter at Morey's Piers 300: Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis (Boy, was THAT a mistake.) 350: Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's Berry Farm (during WCB on Saturday!)
  18. Had a very interesting experience at the park today. I was on Flashback and once the entire train was on the lift, it stopped. Of course, the GP starts freaking out instantly. They start to yell things like "Get us down!", "This is unsafe!" and (my personal favorite) "I'm gonna sue the f$@k out of you!" Maintenance arrived in a few minutes and solved the issue. When it was announced that the ride would be restarting, the GP freaked out yet again. They wanted to come down and walk off. Being the credit whore I am, I of course wanted to get it over with. The ride takes place with great intensity (I guess the brakes aren't used in maintenance mode). A guest relations rep was waiting at the exit and she got quite the earful from the GP. On couple yelled that the ride should be shut down. One particular guest (try to match his earlier quote) was NOT happy that the ride was restarted. He was so angry that he was threatening to fight the ride ops (I'm not sure how it went there). Security was called and he was escorted out of the park. It was one of the funniest GP over-reactions that I've ever seen and I knew that I had to share it with TPR.
  19. Just yesterday at SFOT was interesting. It was in the low 40s when we walked in, but it dropped incredibly fast. We were only there for two hours when it finally got too cold for us. I don't remember exactly how cold it was, but it was well below freezing.
  20. I was at the park the past two days and it was indeed packed. The operations were horrible (no surprise) and a few of the employees were so terrible that I was forced to report them to a manager. Overall, the rides were great. NTaG earned a very respectable #7 in my top 10 steel coasters. However, I wouldn't fly all the way back here just to go to this park and I won't be back for quite some time.
  21. Definitely New Texas Giant! It was a fantastic way to close out a great coaster year!
  22. I'm going to be at the park this weekend. Will it be completely packed? (I'm guessing this will be a yes, but you never know)
  23. As Apocalypse at SFA, I didn't think Iron Wolf was all that bad. I've always found Green Lantern and Vortex at Carowinds to be far worse.
  24. I'm really looking forward to this ride regardless of the name. I hope it lives up to the expectations. Can't wait to go back to CW and ride it.
  25. I remember Anaconda being pretty bad several years ago, but now it's pretty good. I noticed in 2011 that the MCBR was a lot stronger than it was in 2006.
