FYI - the 'topple' chair you mentioned is actually a 'Magis Spun Chair'. I looked them up after they were put in Times Square a few years back. The retail price for the real ones is $895 each!!!! You can get knockoff ones in the $300-500 range. I'll wait for the Ikea under $100 version!

^I've talked to employees at the park that swear they have seen a disaster plan based on the Sky Tower falling over so I'm not convinced it's super safe either!

^Um. Ninja and Psyclone were both damaged in the 94 Northridge quake. I would have no desire to be on a ride during an earthquake.

I finally made it to this park a few years back. It was fine for a small park, but it definitely wasn't anything to go out of the way for. It certainly could be something special if it was cleaned up a bit but I don't think it needs to based on where it is and who it's actually drawing in.

Closing the park at 4pm in July is kind of one of the worst things Merlin has done in a string of terrible things!

^Yeah, when we do our events there we work with Sam himself of Samwiches on the Mezzanine level to cater for us. Like we've all discovered...it's a weird place!

'Staffing' is such a funny excuse! When we rent out the place there are like 4 employees in the whole building and we run around like idiots riding everything (and injuring ourselves). I take that back, 6 employees, because we also rent out the roof and there's a rule that there have to be more staff if you rent the roof. I also remember the video monitors on the 10 story slide and the one slide of death, but no others.

Sad that we'll probably never get any follow up on this accident. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that more later died or had catastrophic life changing injuries.

I just want to throw it out, that I agree it's stupid not to allow people to choose their own seats (in most situations), but if it's the park policy or that's what an op says, you have to just deal with it as that's life.

I actually also really like the point system and tech aspect. I don't think the theme needed to also be that, but I'm curious to check the place out.
