Theme Parks in Saudi Arabia!

Do women go to the parks much? Only on special days? Are there separate queues and ride cycles for them? I'm curious about the logistics of running a park in a country like this. -

Oh Daily Mail... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html From the pictures I see it looks like it stopped at the top of the lift hill. Poor Alton Towers, the media is just all over them and putting crap like this out there doesn't help. In very small print at the bottom of the article it mentions how it reopened later in the day. UGH! Doesn't look very upside down to me. -
Yeah, it's both weird and awesome being on one of these 'small' cruise/ferry ships. We listed so much at one point on one of our crossings that I left the restaurant and stood near a door to the outside until we righted ourselves again! Thanks for the report Reed! I wish we had all of these different methods of cool transportation in the US!

That's a good area they're putting it in too. Always seemed a little dead in that corner. -
I think Universal Japan is worthy of a full day visit even if you've been to or are going to the other parks. They have a very unique Halloween event as well.

Very interesting. Are we assuming that the big Fantasyland redo was scaled back? Arendelle over at DisneySea pushed back? It's okay, I'm fine with all of that if we're getting a Beauty and the Beast Trackless dark ride and a small Big Hero 6 area!!!! -

I think it depends on what you consider *all* attractions. There are certainly some that are under construction for the future or won't be open for opening day but Disney and others will say that was not the plan anyways. -

It's amazing those girls didn't lose both legs when you see those photos of just how crushed so much of the front of the train was. -

This looks pretty good. I was a little worried as Hong Kong already has quite a bit of food I can't deal with, but honestly some of this looks really great. KT will be especially happy to see all of the Macaroon options! -
LinnanmÀki Discussion Thread

I just feel that it makes more sense putting the VR stuff on the indoor coasters, as well as making it optional. Good Job Linnanmaki! -
I have quite a few friends who live in the Winter Garden area and very much enjoy it. Removed far enough from the touristy stuff but within 45 minutes you can be at any tourist thing in the city. You don't say how old and I won't ask but if you're retiring it would be great, but be aware if you'll still be working pay rates are usually much lower here than in many other states. I like to be slightly more in the action so we live in the Dr. Phillips area plus you are stuck on either lots of local or toll roads to get in and out of Winter Garden.

HAAALP! HHN USH vs FF SFMM vs KSF
SharkTums replied to gearbm95's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For a more adult focused, scary event I would take SFMM out of the mix. That being said, if you're into roller coasters they have the best selection of the three by far. If you're wanting a mix of rides and a decent halloween event KSF might be the best choice for you. USH will have the best halloween scares, props, houses, etc. but not as much on the rides side of things. -

I love what's happening in this thread! At least you're all having fun with this. One thought did cross my mind though. Is RMC getting a free pass from the enthusiast community? I feel like if this was say an Intamin ride, everyone would be up in arms fuming, going crazy, claiming that Intamin would go out of business and no one would ever work with them again. Full disclosure - I support both companies, just interested in what you all think. -
It's weird I haven't had anything going on in my town in days! Guess I'm pretty caught up on everything.

New update out. Now that I'm not stressing and freaking out, it's actually kind of fun!
