  1. ^Crazy stuff. Not unheard of though. We've pretty much sworn off winter cruising out of northern ports. We've always had at least two days of very rough sees when traveling up north in the winter time.
  2. ^I really like Nasu. It's a more traditional Japanese Park where as Parque Espana is this weird 'theme' park themed to Spain in Japan!?!? Sure they have a good B&M Invert but I don't think it's worth going all the way out there when you could do some other stuff. Sea Paradise has a really good coaster, one of the coolest drop rides, and bumper boats with dolphins. Sold.
  3. Give us more than a day to respond please. Looking real fast I would think about doing Sea Paradise with Cosmoworld instead of, or another day Yomiuriland.
  4. ^Interesting. They are certainly trying for a certain level guest and perhaps that will alleviate a lot of concerns about poor behavior in the park. As a comparison, a full price ticket to nearby Happy Valley costs ¥230.
  5. ^No no, it's just a clue for next years SFGAd addition!
  6. I think the Rock n Roller Coaster pre show is the worst pre show in the history of pre shows. I think I would ride that coaster more if I didn't have to stand through the pre show!!!
  7. ^Even if something is better, if the ride ops haven't seen it before or it doesn't get listed on their 'what's permitted' rule sheet you may run into a problem. Best to keep it to standard gear they know about.
  8. ^That would be by far the best B&M Coaster ever!
  9. ^He didn't say how long he has...I was giving him more of my 'best of the area for extreme' list.
  10. Maybe more of a Northeast run this time? Washington DC, NYC, Philadelphia, Boston and parks you could hit would be Kings Dominion, Knoebels, Dorney, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags New England.
  11. ^As awesome as the ride looks, I do agree with you. Remember also the rumor that it would partially take place place in an aviary? Hopefully we'll see a bit more once the ride opens.
  12. ^&^^ Exactly my point. A ride could be terrifying but if the kid can bury their head into your shoulder or lap they'll get over it. Being walled in, OTSR on you, unable to see your parent could freak you out forever!
  13. ^Excellent advice. I'll add my $0.02 about Forbidden Journey. It's also very dark and you can't really touch or look at the person next to you to see if your kid is alright.
  14. ^That's really up to you. If the kids have never been to a Legoland then I would say absolutely. But if they've been to another one then it's your call. It's at LEAST an hour from anywhere in Orlando and usually takes longer in the afternoon/evening.
  15. ^Exactly. Not to mention the cost of some of those tours that don't even include parks, meals, goodies, etc. is usually so much more that what we would charge. Most of the 'attractions' on normal tours are free or super low cost like museums, churches, historic sites, etc. People just don't understand. Look up basic tours by Tauck, Adventures by Disney, etc. and you'll be shocked!
  16. With all of the health and safety laws/rules/regulations we have the show could never be as fast paced as it really needed to be. Even the Paris version is better. Nothing holds a candle to the Italian car stunt show at Mirabilandia though! Yay for lax health and safety rules!
  17. Do we have a height restriction yet for the ride?
  18. Interesting look at something different, thanks! And yes, I love the drinks with the little snacks on top. My favorite was the fried cheese!
  19. Cool, thanks! Please keep us updated as I can't wait to see the slide in the back of the ship.
  20. ^I believe so, but it also may be cheaper to look for any online deals.
  21. So I was really close last night and got Gerald for 5 donuts. Of course this morning the event is still going on and I could have gotten him for free! Grr!!!!
  22. Good to know. Thanks!
  23. Doesn't look like I'm going to unlock baby Gerald. It will be close, but I don't know if I'm willing to spend the donuts on it. Do you guys all have him already? Is he worth it?
