^We have never seen them for sale when we have been at the park. I believe they only offer a pass during VERY busy times.

Europa Park Discussion Thread
SharkTums replied to Ultracoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^The park is super popular and busy during the summer. That is the height of the European Summer Season. Try to find a time you can stay on property so that you can get early entry and beat some of the crowds. -
Lines are manageable at Dollywood and they have a skip the line program which makes them even better.

I'm not sure I like the gokart track on the cruise ship!!?? Like I loved the bumper cars because they were fun and that space could be used for a ton of other activities throughout the day and night. That track is going to take up a lot of room and be ONLY for go-karts. Oh well, doesn't matter for now as I will not go on a China-Based ship.

Wonderful TR on so many levels! - Totally agree with you on all of your Lagoon opinions. I had heard such wonderful things, calling it the Knoebels of the West Coast, but it was very odd. Not bad, just odd. - Yay Atheism. Also you forgot the nice thing about Mormonism is that they're really freakin nice! - The 'grid' system of downtown is hilarious. So many numbers, directions, and names. -

Oh I completely agree. I was just curious as my Spanish is a little rusty. You'll be fine then! I've never taken a day of Spanish in my life and all I know is from Dora and Handy Manny and living in Florida. I did pretty well! -

Blasphemy! -
I still play but I'm over it and don't get upset or annoyed if I don't unlock things or finish events. Wrestling event right now that I don't really care about. But also this interesting new district where you can kind of park your characters. Apparently it's only in Beta and not everyone has it.

^I keep playing cause I assume they'll have some cool updates at some point.

Many people speak good English at the park and in the city, but always do yourself a favor and learn some basic words and phrases in the language of the country you're visiting. -

Thanks for the details Neil. Very interesting. -
I strongly believe that Europa is a 2+ day park. There's a lot to do, see, eat, and enjoy. A lot for the little one to enjoy as well. If we're taking the little one and wife into consideration I would just base at Efteling for two days, though it is not needed. Bobbejaanland is a great park but I don't know if I'd go out of my way to hit it up instead of culture or other random stuff. Holiday Park has been adding a lot and is nearly a full day park now.

Please help TPR's Jack Crouse!

Kristen loves Ellen and suggested weeks ago that we do this. I honestly held her back because I see this as a 'one in a million' chance and I realize that there are horrible things happening to many families all over the country. It was selfish of me, because I didn't want KT to get sad when nothing happened even after she put in the effort. In the end though, it really made KT happy to just write the letter and send it off (especially after she saw Jack in person yesterday for the first time since all of this happened). -
Ahh, I was wondering about that but hoping they weren't that evil.
-
^I've noticed that I'm only getting like 3 of those 'random' fires now a day.

^Totally fair and honest question. In the US it all depends on your insurance. Medical Insurance for self-employed individuals and families SUCKS!!! It is expensive and doesn't cover as much as you would hope. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience! Jack's wife has a position at the local high school that allowed them to have slightly better insurance than what they had before which is now going to be a life saver. Jack's hospital bill will end up around the $750k - $1 million mark when all is said and done. Insurance will cover the vast majority of it but they will still be responsible for a minimum of $5k-$10k to the hospital. Then there will be LOTS of outpatient therapy and appointments that will all have 'Co-Pays' of at least $50 each which will add up fast. When Robb worked for Activision and we had KT, and she spent several days in the NICU and we didn't pay a dime with that more 'real' health insurance. Her bills I saw were near $50k. With the insurance we have now that we pay a lot more for with our own business we would be on the hook for $10k. It's not a perfect system for sure. -
I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to follow this but I just wanted to weigh in on the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Rapids Ride...I LOVE THIS!!! This was one of my favorite books growing up and I passed it on to KT as well. The movie was, well, a movie version, but I'm still excited for this!

People seem to love it or hate it based on their rides on it. I always recommend that you're in the front car as I believe it was designed for single car trains and not the trailered ones. I've always had really enjoyable rides on it in the front and I hate rough rides. You also could have caught a train that was about to go in for maintenance.

Also, do yourself a favor and look into private tours for some of these ports. They are about the same price as the ship sponsored ones and can usually do a lot more. You can even find people on your ship roll call that want to share and then they become even cheaper. We're doing private tours for all of our Italy and Greece cruise ports this summer.

It was the first ever SLC, don't you want to experience a bit of roller coaster history? Oh I've already ridden this one and I don't need to repeat history! -

I wonder what kind of resort it will be. Possibly an Art of Animation?
