This is a completely different scenario than the one Robb was addressing though. You have plans from a long time ago coming from far away, nothing wrong with that. Robb was merely suggesting that someone who lives a few hours away by car wait until the ride is up and running reliably before visiting.

Florida in July is brutal. Hot, humid, and crowded! I would buy the quick queue and think it was money well spent if it helped me even miss 60 seconds of extra queue that time of year.

Agree. I was really looking forward to the restaurant but was quite disappointed by the food quality compared to the rest of the park. I guess you're limited with your food when you have to send it via roller coaster!

^I'd say 'WTF' and 'That's Bizarre!', but this is Mt. Olympus so nothing surprises me.

In the past we've usually eaten at the Wirtshaus des Admirals cafeteria type place. It's nice, indoor and outdoor seating, lots of choices. Now that they're a Merlin park they have an "All You Can Eat" Pizza and Pasta Buffet which we'd probably do.

^We've always had good luck at the quick serve Italian place and right nearby is an amazing fresh Crepe stand!

It depends how hungry you are and if you're going to order anything else. Robb, KT, and I could finish that pizza if we didn't get anything else, but if you pair it with some appetizers or salad or pasta then yes.

I agree that Wildcat is rough and I would love to see it get a real makeover. Even riding the very front seat gave poor KT a headache in 2014!

^Exactly. Journey goes down for AT LEAST a month every year in Tokyo. If they did that to Everest, Disney Fans here would riot and burn the place down!

^No, when they first announced it they didn't say if it was wet or dry which really freaked out a lot of people.

Wait, what the crap? I thought it was gonna be a waterslide. I'm kinda disappointed. Still cool. No way, I'm so happy it's a dry slide! So many more people can ride it and it would be a ton of impossible logistics to deal with a wet slide in that location.

As if I needed another reason to avoid the normal 'moms' group at school... One of them comes up to me and says "I heard I should talk to you. I'm taking my family on a big RV Amusement Park trip of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and more this summer." Me: Oh great! That's awesome, where are you going? School Mom: Kings Island, Cedar Point, Dorney, Hershey, maybe SFGAd... Me: Sounds fun, what about adding Knoebels in there? Have you been there before? Do you know about it? You should definitely go! School Mom: Oh yeah, I grew up in the area but we don't need to go there. My boys like thrill rides and that park is kind of old. Me: No, it's really a great park, they have coasters that are rated the best in the world and even have a new one that goes upside-down and has a crazy drop, you really should go. School Mom: Nah, I don't really need to go back. Me: <>
