^I've seen this video going around. While I think the guy is a complete douche for doing it (and probably breaking some phones), these people do deserve it. We had to run selfie stick gauntlets all through NYC. It was ridiculous.

Which is worse? 26 year old hitting on a 13 year old or a 26 year old being picked up by his mom for doing so? We're about to start banning and deleting again so let's stop this and focus on the park please.

Looks nice. The slide complex especially looks awesome! I don't think I've seen a complex like that outside of Europe before.

This even made some crappy US News. I can't believe how they're reporting the ride STOPPING to be such a big deal and prove it's not safe. Would they rather it not stop and cause another horrible accident!?! Oh wait, the horrible media probably would like that!

To be fair, this can actually, really happen! KT goes to school in an area with a lot of children of Disney and Universal higher-ups and they have spilled quite a few things! She would come home from Kindergarten telling us about new attractions coming to Universal and was right! KT also asks the best questions at Career Day for us.

SFMM has needed a ride like this for 15+ years! Good for them for finally getting one! I'm trying to figure out the 'first ever virtual loop' claim though? Doesn't like everyone of those 7D attractions have a fake loop!?!? How many times have I done a loop in a mine car on some terrible simulator?!?

I always thought this park had a lot of promise and was one of the nicer parks in the chain. Nice to see it getting some recognition.

Yes. I predict that many enthusiasts will feel entitled and butt hurt at the same time.

I'm happy he'll be upright and riding Twisted Colossus for the first time!

No rest for any of us! Poor KT will do four full days in SoCal then take the red eye and go straight to school! Sleep when you're dead!

X2 is the only ride that KT has been tall enough for (on multiple trips!), but I have not let her ride. I'm sure there are some scary Chinese death machines that I also wouldn't put her on, but I just feel that for someone so small that ride would beat her up way too much. I hope the ride gets back open for you guys, but I personally don't care for it at all anymore.

They still offer a bunch of "UAE Resident" discounts to most of the parks and water parks in the region. It's very similar to how the parks in the Orlando/Tampa area offer Florida Resident discounts - particularly during the slower months. A great example is the Aquaventure waterpark at Atlantis the Palm that costs 260 AED ($71) for a day's admission - but the rate for UAE Residents is 195 AED ($53). The parks here (just like the ones in Central Florida) take great care of the local residents! That makes sense, thanks for the insight!

^Yeah, I've noticed all of the prices for everything in the UAE has gone up. It's like they realized what they had and raised prices to match as opposed to before when it was more of a bargain.

Important question - Were the crepes being freshly made, or just reheated?

I think it's really cool that this park is sticking with their unique flat rides in a sea of CF parks that have almost none or just cookie cutter flats.

Once again, on the plus side, it's nice to now have a nationality that's worse than the 'ugly American' tourists!

The Sesame Peanut Sauce on those noodles is some of the best tasting anything on earth!!!

^I am a mosquito magnet so I'm well aware of bug spray and have used it in the past but didn't expect to need it that day so didn't have any on or with me as we had not had any other issues in Europe up until that day (and then after!).

Forget the lousy bee in the flower, the park was filled with man eating mosquitos!!!! Seriously, it was bad, so many bites. These were the mosquitos that also hurt when they bit you, felt like a mini-stabbing every time. Poor KT and I were running around in circles during ERT to try and keep the mosquitos off of us.

^To me, the only saving grace of the Paris version of the studio tour is the Reign of Fire section cause at least it's something different and unique.

Whenever someone complains about Indiana Jones I ask, "Did you ride it backwards? Cause I did, and somehow lived to tell the tale, so STFU!!!"
