If that picture of the kid killed is accurate we have put much larger people on these rides during our trips and had no issues. In fact two of our larger people got stuck on the ride because the restraint would NOT release them!

Is anyone else going to be maybe just a tad bit sad when the ride does open and we lose the amazingness that this thread has become!?!?! Looking forward to our visit this summer!

^I agree. Disneyland has always been more of a locals park so they need to add different overlays and update rides more often. The Florida parks are where people go for their 'trip of a lifetime', and they want the original versions of rides. I don't understand putting a Guardians overlay on Tower, but I'm sure Disney will figure out a way to make it work. I mean, as long as it gets rid of that terrible 'hallway to get on an elevator after elevator doors' I'm good! That being said, any of the Towers are welcome to convert to a Shiriki overlay anytime they want!

I think you and everyone else here has answered your question. When Universal announced Diagon Alley and the Train they at first didn't talk about the fact that you'd now need a park hopper ticket if you wanted to use the train or visit both "Harry Potter Lands" in the same day. Then once it was kind of figured out they talked about the hopper and how that's the only way to experience the train. I guess to them that train ride is worth at least $25!

There's a lot of hate for it on the cruise ship enthusiast boards but I love it!
