Great TR Divv! It was a little eerie reading your TR as it matched my own thoughts almost identically! From the top three attractions (including that freakin waterfall cliff ropes course course!!!!!) to some shifty Chinese uneasiness. Glad you guys had a good time. We're planning a similar trip to yours for our next visit with just Disney, and the Disney Store! No 'real' China!

Also, be prepared, that single rider lines work a little different if you are a westerner (and possibly if you're asian as well!). We have noticed that the ride ops will ask the group you would be paired with if it's 'ok' for a single rider to ride with them. I've never seen the polite Japanese say no, but I'm sure it does happen. The single rider concept definitely doesn't seem to work as well in Japan as it does in the US.

If you're in Rome I would absolutely go to Cinecitta World, we really liked it! Sure it's a small park, but the attractions were decent if not really great!

This sounds a lot like what happened in Florida when they removed the ability to scan old tickets and get fast passes, or press the button on the back of the machine to get a fast pass. As soon as a 'loop hole' was stopped, people felt entitled to it! They'll get over it.

^Yeah, it will obviously be closed the 23rd and 24th for media stuff, and I'm not quite sure how long the pass holder previews go on for (they start the 14th), just keep an eye here as we get closer and we'll all know more.

Exactly. I've also ridden three of them and the Six Flags one just feels 'off' compared to the others.

If you don't book a resort hotel, your AP FP+ window opens at 30 days (I believe?). I'm sure there will be a lot of us competing for Avatar fast passes for those first few days!

I think you'll be fine. You seemed to hit every point on the head about May. - Yes, there will be crowds, especially at Disney. All colleges and universities are out by the end of May, but most Kindergarten - 12th graders are still in school. If you come around Memorial Day there will be more people that weekend than other May weekends. - By May we're pretty much in the normal central Florida summer plan. Warm mornings, Hot afternoons, random thunderstorm, Warm evenings. Certainly not gray all day unless we get an early hurricane. Southern California has a phenomenon called "June Gloom" that can start in May and produce gray skies, but we don't really have that here. - Use the Fastpass Plus system to its finest and you can do well for sure! Please ask for anymore help you need. We're around and happy to help! If you're planning to book a Disney resort remember that Fastpass Plus reservations are already open for Avatar area so do that SOON!

Congrats? Seriously though, I've had some good rides on it in the past, but it can be really brutal in a bad seat on a bad train.
