  1. That's way too broad of a question. It varies greatly from park to park, and even time of the year/day,etc. But generally it's a good idea to head to any low capacity rides first.
  2. If I went back to SFKK I'd go to the water park just for Deluge. It looks awesome. What would you consider "vicinity"? Holiday World and Beech Bend aren't too far away. (63 miles for HW, and 88 for Beech Bend). Depends on how much you want to drive though.
  3. I'd say 3 to 4 hours would give more then enough time in the ride side. For the water park maybe an hour? Not sure though, as I don't know what they have other then Deluge.
  4. But it's only what $25 for the physically challenged admission???
  5. Actually, it's one powered and three kiddies. Silver Streak, Ghoster Coaster, and Taxi Jam (requires a child) are all kiddy coasters.
  6. Only if you're a credit whore. Quass has a crappy mouse and kiddy coaster. It's your average crappy gheto park. If you want as many credits as possible, then sure stop in and get them. But if you're looking for just looking for a nice extra park to stop at, then skip it.
  7. That would be a hyper, not a giga. Personally I don't think anything at SFA is all that good. Superman is "ok", but not nearly as good as the one at SFNE. If you're going past it anyways, then sure it's worth a stop. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it. And I definetly wouldn't pass up going to a much better park like Hershey for it.
  8. Birth certifcate and drivers license is enough, though passport is preffered. 2009 though is when it's supposed to change to passport required.
  9. 2 kiddie credits you mean. Taxi Jam requires a kid to ride. The other two kiddie credits shouldn't be a problem. Although being a summer holiday I'm sure they'll have a decent line. The Fly as well will have a decent line. But really, whatever low capacity coasters aren't in ERT, just head to them first and you should be fine.
  10. Assuming ERT includes all the popular/low capacity rides in particular Flight Deck, Time Warp,Skyrider, and Bat, it shouldn't be all that hard. The rides open during ERT "should" end up being the one's that would have brutal waits during the day. During park hours you should have no problem going around and hitting up the less popular rides. This should be the one time that you end up glad to have an SLC and boomerang during ERT. You won't like the look of those lines.
  11. The video forum is already there for posting your videos. And there's a photo TR archive where all the best TRs get moved. So that really probably covers both of them. Unless I'm missing something here?
  12. It would probably cost you a small fortune to fly to Lousiville.
  13. Well the old site also had a nack of totally breaking when I viewed it in Firefox. So maybe they switched to an easier to navigate, more standard designed site. Hopefully the resort reservation got an overhaul. (it crashed earlier when I tried to test it). As that part of the site looked like something you'd see back in the early 90s. I never understood why they had this flashy website, with such a crappy reservation back end.
  14. You answered your own question, but don't even know it. Vekoma's SLCs are Susepended Looping Coaters, because they actually are the same as suspended coasters, only they have those pistons in place to keep the car fairly in place. But the car is free to move side to side somewhat. (that is a major reason why SLCs produce head banging). B&M/Intamin inverted coasters have the train physically locked to the track, producing a much smoother ride with no side to side motion. I think B&M/Intamin have a patent preventing companies like Vekoma from going fully inverted. Though that could be a bit of an urban legend.
  15. Sounds more like grandstanding to me. Then again, it's always easy to cast judgement when it's not your own culture being satired. I'm sure some people would think differently if it was a foreign add with a fat American cramming his face with McDonalds.
  16. And yet the resort reservation system still doesn't work properly.
  17. ^ The Europe trip is just about to start. So we're just going to have to be a bit more patient.
  18. Hmm, so country music is what's wrong with the US? Actually that makes TOTAL sense.
  19. Damn Dixie Chicks. They should be hanged for causing this stabbing.
  20. Very interesting. You must be quite brave to head out into such a foreign culture in search of a theme park.
  21. To be honest that doesn't really tell me anything about Shapiro. It just says he's visiting his competition to see how they operate. Which every major company does. Doesn't mean that he's going to run things like SDC does. Though hopefully he sees what SDC does well, and applies that.
  22. Not so awesome for us, we might have died! I'm all for destruction of property [that's not mine or Nikki's], but when there's a chance for death, I'd prefer to be ... elsewhere! Well if my experiences in GTAIV are any indication, you would have been fine. I haven't seen a fire in person in quite some time. I can still remember the two times while growing up watching the crack house across the street from us burn down. Good thing I don't live at Weston & Lawrence anymore. What a crap hole.
  23. Did you stop at the oasis in Wisconsin that is Tomah?
