  1. Probably not the summer after next either. Has there even been any firm details about whether a next one will be made? Hopefully not after they butchered the last one so bad.
  2. BS. My waist is about 16" wide. So if that was true I wouldn't have fit in any PTC train.
  3. I can do a time lapse recording of the snow pile in my complex. It typically grows to about 20 feet tall by February. 1 pic per thread??
  4. ^ Not always. Up here we would normally call very light snow frost.
  5. Not every metro area can support a theme park. I just don't see Indy being a big enough draw for a park. No one really goes to Indy other then to visit family or see a race. There are better spots that could be chosen for a brand new park. A big name brand alone also wouldn't do it, just look at Hard Rock Park. The name alone won't save it. Maybe a water park, or smaller niche type attraction could prosper. But I just don't see a big chain park surviving in that area.
  6. ^^ Whoah. Standing that close to a cliff would probably terrify me.
  7. Because it's not a summer blockbuster. Isn't it coming out in the winter? I'd probably pick Transformers2 out of that list.
  8. Don't forget when Dr. Grant learned how to talk to the Raptors. Or that giant dinosaur that smashed through a 50 foot security fence like it was tissue paper, but then was foiled by a deadbolt on a barn door. Or the satellite phone that can be heard from a mile away within the stomach of a dinosaur. Or the navy battle group which which showed up at the island overnight after receiving one obscure distress call. At least the 2nd Jurassic Park movie included a few things from the book that was left out in the original.
  9. I actually just came across my copy of "Rollercoasters, flumes, and flying saucers" yesterday. I might need to dig it out and give it another read.
  10. I wouldn't call that upsetting news. I'd call it good news. The two sequels were crap. I'm glad that they are giving up on beating a dead horse just to cash in on a bad movie selling well because of a major name.
  11. Their hiring is probably pretty volatile, especially at first. With people showing up, quitting, etc at random times. They probably had enough people at TTD, but were desperate for workers to staff Camp Snoopy so that they could keep it up. Should they have just kept you at TTD sweeping the entry way and close down Camp Snoopy because they couldn't get enough people? Had you just had a good attitude, and made the best of it, you probably could have gotten transfered back to TTD or some other major ride. But instead you took a hissy fit, quit, and went back to work at Chick-Fil-A. You did it to yourself.
  12. Your contract was to work at Cedar Point, not to work at TTD. (even though you were assigned to TTD, I'm sure the contract states they can move you wherever needed) So your contract was respected. Seasonal theme park employees are just grunt labour. You shouldn't go into it expecting to get the best position. If you end up sweeping paths, then so be it. Not much you can do about it.
  13. What else SHOULD they have valued you as? Some sort of artist that needed to be motivated? I'm sure had you stuck it out longer then a day they might have moved you. They probably saw you as some winy minimum wage teenager complaining that you didn't get your way.
  14. ^ I doubt it. It seems most likely that Sundin will go to the Rangers. I just can't see him come back to a losing situation in Toronto, as much as he has been the face of the franchise for the last decade. And although they won't come out and say it, the team probably doesn't want to spend the money to bring him back. It would just hurt their attempts of blowing the team up.
  15. ^ I prefer not to think of it as Burke coming in as GM. I prefer to think of it as removing Richard Peddie's power for the next six years. Preventing MLSE from sticking their nose where it doesn't belong is a great thing, regardless of who the GM is. You know, I've always been surprised at how Thomas gets the results he does. He's always looked like a brutal goalie to me. But I guess I can't really call it luck anymore.
  16. ^ Just have to hope they can finally perform in the playoffs. San Jose the past few years has been a great regular season team, but faded in the playoffs. The rebuilding in Toronto is in full swing as we're on the verge of getting Brian Burke as GM. But it's going to be a few more painful years.
  17. Even if the track were complete, they would still have all the electrical, etc to do. It would probably be at least a month or two after track complete before test cycles could start.
  18. The coolest part about the update was the flashy into trailer. And boo to no 3RRoD t-shirt options for avatars.
  19. Don't most boardwalks have a carnival feel to them? Besides, adding portable rides does not mean that the park will look ghetto. Sure they "could" make it look ghetto kind of like Beech Bend. But it's just as likely that they could make it look just like a clean permanent park.
  20. ^ Perhaps he meant to say Owl? Is the title fairy a wise old owl?
  21. It's a real coaster. It's in Japan. It's just a tunnel going under water. Just a trick that makes it look like it's actually hitting water.
  22. Well, that does happen to people who are color blind. That's why certain color combination's for websites are taboo, as it would produce situations where color blind people would just see a single color. For instance red on black, and green on black are taboo, as someone who is red/green color blind would see those colors as black, and would end up just seeing a blank screen. There's color blind tests you can look at on the internet, where a number or something will be written using colored dots. If you can see the number, you're not color blind. But if you were color blind, you'd just see a big blob of dots, with no number visible.
  23. If your parents and sister already have computers, then what's the issue with sharing if you got a macbook??
  24. People actually pay for software on PCs??
  25. Yeah, I voted for Wes to die. Umm, no you didn't. Sure looks like you voted Natatomic
