OMG. First off, with the whole "Cedar Fair seems to have cut off Intamin..." bull$#!%, just shut up right there because you don't have a single clue what you're talking about. As for the B&M versus Intamin debate, you're right. I'd much rather Knott's get a B&M hyper also as it would give me one less reason to visit California. Intamin had 10 of the top 15 steel coasters in the world in last years poll*. Not a single USA B&M made it into the top 15. So yeah, you can have your weak and forceless mediocre B&M hyper all to yourself. Enjoy it. --Robb * http://www.ushsho.com/steelpoll11yeartable2010.htm I hope you get a reason to visit California but I doubt it. Knott's never seems to fully invest in their projects to make the most out of their investments. But I'll put it this way, the difference between a B&M hyper and an Intamin could be the difference between me buying a season pass or waiting till November for when I get in free. Not that this really matter because all of their plans are already set in stone. But, I could see why they would go with B&M instead of Intamin as I could forsee backlash that might occur once local media sites start listing the press release for the new attraction. Imagine, "Knott's new 300 foot roller coaster was designed by Intamin who has designed 2 other attractions for knotts. Perioulous Plunge, from which a women fell 115' to her death in 2001, as well as Xcelerator which was shut down for an extended period of time after its launch cable snapped seriously injuring several riders on board." Yup, starting to paint a picture assuming that this project ever does actually get off the ground.

Even better. Agreed.. Yes. That was very mature of you guys. Way to make the situation look even better. I get his point though. He obviously feels decieved and like the park was hiding this from the public. If they had announced it at the begginning of summer, it would have given more enthusiests and locals with memories from long ago a last chance to get on and enjoy the attraction. But today's the last day to ride the attraction, who has time now to make last minute plans to go ride the thing, really?

Monterey Bay will obtain a great white every once and a while. I do not remember if it was last year or the year before, but I made pilgrimage to see the almighty fish only to discover they had released it 3 days before. There is no telling how long they will keep it in captivity. They only hold it for along as the shark does not become aggressive towards the other fish, and so long as it remains healthy.

Most people dont ever really think about the design jumping over beach blvd and into the parking lot. That would actually make the most sense for such a ride. Anyways, i saw the new ride up and running today off the 91. I got a little excited. Cant wait for Veterans month in November to go ride. Yee haw!

Disney Parks D23 Keynote-

I think you're right about Alauni. From what I hear its rather excluded. And their dedication to "authentic hawaiian experience" sounds pretentious. I wonder how much of these values everyday hawaiians actually uphold. We should consult BJ Penn. At this point, i feel like they're just beating a dead horse with their marketing attempts. Obviously they want people to visit... but come on... nothing new here. Announce DLR's third gate already! lol -

Yea the ending looked a little half baked, but then again they're already spending 28 million. Imagine adding another section of track to weave through after a MCBR. Steel is not cheap. -

in the wood vs steele argument. Who cares.. why subscribe to labels? The ride is what it is, and the experience shouldn't be based on if its wood or not. That's like a crutch to not have fun. Enjoy it for what it is: a great looking attraction that Im no doubt going to have to go out to Texas to experience. -

I believe Screamscape mentioned they would try to leave Mythos in tact. But it seems weird that they would leave just one single building just so they would not have to ruin the design or detail of the building? Im sure there has to be some way where they can slip Mythos in and blend it with the expansion of HP. Maybe they can create their own story (JK Rowling approved of course) and couple that with some subtle design changes and you can have an awesome restaurant that blends without destroying the original integrity of it? Food for thought.

^ you're 16. give it some time. Guaranteed you haven't figured it out yet. Im 21 and im not going to claim to be a pro. I've been with my lady for 2 and half years and it just works for me. Other people just have conflicting personalities. You're much to young and inexperience to really judge your own dating life. Try not to be so gloom about it and just enjoy whatever you got or move on from whatever you dont have.

Considering the 14% unemployment rate in Vegas right now I'm surprised the even have that many! LOL Well I'd imagine that those moving in would fall some where under the 86% with jobs. :/

The iPad - Apple's Take On The Tablet Computer
Gnome replied to Wes's topic in Random, Random, Random
played around with the Ipad today. While impressed an amused at first, I quickly decided that the ipad is kind of pointless and way overpriced. As soon as the apple fanboys all have their hands on the ipad, I can foresee the sales of these bad boys declining
