I drove by the actual Neverland once...and the nearest city is about an hour away and only has 85,000-100,000 people It's really out in the middle of nowhere...for the most part.

Actually, not quite. They technically didn't buy this coaster from Vekoma, they just relocated it. It was originally bought before the anti-Vekoma embargo, so it doesn't mean that it has ended. And yes, the Bradley Kaye kiddie coaster is still there.

From the teenage boy standpoint: This is BS (but this ride was obviously not meant for people my age...however, that wont stop me from riding it ) But from the park's standpoint: This is a pretty good move, although I still swear that the park needs something in the 50 to 80 foot range. If the park had been buying a new coaster instead of recycling, I would say that it was a bad move as So Cal now has 3 of the exact same kiddie coaster. However, for such little overhead, this was a pretty damn good deal for SFMM. It will be pretty stark in contrast to Terminator though...

I always make a mad dash to X2, it usually takes maybe five minutes before they open up the queue and let you on the ride, which completely beats waiting in the usually ridiculously long line. I mean there is the off chance that it may open an hour after the park (although I haven't personally seen that happen), but it's definitely worth the effort to run to it.

It's quite hard to beat a restaurant whose slogan is "Eating out never tasted so good." If any of you have kids to take to Vegas, (ah, who am I kidding?) I enjoyed this Mexican food restaurant in the Venetian. I forgot its name, but the food was pretty good, and it's right on the fake canal which gives it this strange, but cool ambiance. Although I do remember the service being pretty bad. Who knows? Maybe my family just went on a bad day.

Found it! Edit: Oh no! The Donkey Fairy is so advanced, that it's caught on to the recurring TPR jokes! I've seen: "Does Jeff Johnson count this donkey as a credit?" Actually, if there's a 2+ hour return time on your fastpass, you can get a new one 2 hours after the one before it. You're pathetic. And I would also advise staying in the Grand Californian, it's right there, and just going in the lobby sells the entire hotel for me.

Just registered my buddy and myself for Knott's. Being a coaster enthusiast, I'm super serialy excited for the chicken...oh, and the rides.

SFMM does also have a facebook page (more people are on FB anyway) which pretty much acts as their twitter.

^^By your logic, I saved you all from going on days where rides are closed "unplanningly." You should worship me. However, I'm pretty sure the SFMM/SFI people found this on their own and immediately knew it was bs as they NEVER GRANTED PERMISSION FOR IT!!! (So let the manhunt for Six Flags execs commence ) ^Yeah, I forgot to add that into my post. SFMM could always create their own and do it Gravity Group style where they kind of combine twitter and facebook updates (a good way to reach more crowds!).

Huh I wonder why all the other parks keep it? Andrew "Weird!" Iorio With my beautiful journalistic skills, I exposed the truth that the twitter account was complete BS (okay, others knew too). So it's not odd for a company to ask an imposter to discontinue the spreading of (often false) information.

^The funny thing is, it was also closed for a super long time a year ago too. And the "closed-till" date really means nothing. They change it to the end of the month every month.

^Judging by how fast they constructed Terminator, I'd imagine that it'll stay a plot of dirt for a taaad bit longer since I can't imagine it takes that long to build a roller skater or a ride similar to one.

That was an awesome mini PTR of the greatest office in history! ...but it wasn't nearly IN-DEPTH enough.

^Haha thanks for clearing it up, as I said, it wouldn't really matter to me, it was just a tad, teeny, tiny, slight preference. But it wont matter because when it comes to coasters, I'm easier to please than Paris Hilton!

It's looking pretty cool and stream lined, but if I may chime in: The top portion with the calendar and announcements (and up) just seems too cluttered for me, it's harder for my eyes to focus on what I want because the different parts of the page seem to blend into each other. Maybe more spacing or making it more simple would improve this. Also, after you post, it takes you to some page with options like "look at your last post" before finally taking you to your most recent post. I like the more immediate approach it has here.
