  1. Wow that sounds cool. Is it just me? Or is there a moving walkway for loading on the left?
  2. Believe was meh. But it was amazing, I caught the ONE show where the trainer finally gave away his wooden-fluke necklace. I never thought I'd witness that in person! And the Shamu chant isn't something to be criticized. Legend says that once it is bashed, all of the orcas rise from the sea and bitch slap you with their flukes.
  3. I have family in Chile. It took pretty much all day to reach them and realize that they're all okay.
  4. It was kind of sickening watching the idiot CNN anchor and correspondents only cover the would-be Hawaiian tsunami for a couple hours instead of the earthquake coverage. The best part is, she interviewed one of the evacuees and kept trying to cause drama. She kept asking about the food situation, how tense everything is, and the guy was on a freaking golf course drinking his third cocktail! It was hilarious. But yeah, the amount of American centered coverage our news stations flaunt is just bad.
  5. I've had Chipotle twice this week!
  6. ^One day I'll have my video up! Just watch! I may try uploading it tonight (damn trojan infected my computer). The crappy video will make the crappy pictures damn worth it!
  7. Okay relationship geniuses: I am a 10th grader. Back in 5th grade, I kind of liked this girl. Earlier in the year, I learned that she liked me. She even told her friends about the last time we talked (6th grade), which leads me to believe that she cared about me. She's now a freshman at my high school. So here's where it gets complicated, she became absolutely beautiful, and I'm kinda curious what could happen. But would I seem creepy if I all of a sudden started talking to her out of the blue? I need advise on how to approach this situation.
  8. I had a really crappy day. But looking over the LA skyline from my bike and listening to Dave Matthews felt nice.
  9. Sounds great! But the European History nerd inside me giggles at a world themed to the "Hanseatic League." Hmmm, maybe mentioning this will get me extra credit tomorrow!
  10. I know a way we can get it open before WCB. Anybody got knee pads?...
  11. ^ I know Michael Moore (the creator of Bowling for Columbine, Sicko, Fahrenheit 911 etc) is extremely biased. I didn't take that video seriously at all, I just find it hilarious how much he sticks it to the WCB.
  12. The animal should no doubt be put some place where it can't harm people. But it shouldn't be killed. As said above, it acted out of instinct.
  13. Whatever you do, do NOT assault them. I've heard that one of the ways that they make money is by getting assaulted and then suing for it. On the plus side, this couldn't have been done without them:
  14. Sounds like a really good idea. But seriously, I Heart Haiti Kids?!!!!! They really should've thought of a better name.
  15. I'm betting that they'll just use old stock footage of kids at their parks if the commercial is for SFMM. If it's not for SFMM, then whatever company's behind the filming probably just didn't want to deal with the liability of children.
  16. ^Probably not for a while. Is it just me, or do Batman's trains seem whiter than before the rehab? Is that just because they're cleaner? Did they replace the steel? Or am I seeing things?
  17. To Mods: I'm assuming this is an authorized POV. If not, I'm sorry, please remove it. Here's what it looked like without trims!
  18. ^I believe the trims were on much less. Unfortunately, people realized that the "Big@$$F^$KIN Helix of death" caused a ton of grey outs, so they needed to slow it down.
  19. ^Yeah, he ain't smart. To be fair though, I find it kind of odd that they're not allowing kids to be in a commercial shoot at a placed designed for them. Of course, I know nothing about all the legal aspects, but I'm certain that's the reason why they aren't allowing them.
  20. ^Nah, LA people are smart enough to know that. Unfortunately, people still cheer for the Raiders like they're in LA (when they should be cheering for the closest football team that's about a 2 hour drive south). Six Flags Enthuseast, this comment from the "extras" post on SFMM's Facebook page should make you feel a bit better:
  21. For the LA people, you can take the 792 from Century City or UCLA in the morning, and it'll take you right to a transfer which goes right to the park. The only downside is that the last returning 792 that goes back to LA leaves at 6. And it only runs on weekdays.
  22. ^The picture isnt showing up, try again
  23. Have you guys ever heard of Scuzzlebutt?...
  24. Not to discourage you, but I went on Saturday, April 25th last year and the park was the most crowded I've ever seen. Without a flash pass, you may run into trouble.
