How long are you planning on spending at Legoland, CA? Because you've got about a two hour drive in between there and the Santa Monica pier. Luckily for you, the only things you'll want to ride at Belmont Park and Pacific Park are Giant Dipper and West Coaster.

^Well if we're talking about branch whacking, you can do that on tons of rides! I've been smacked by trees or bushes on both Riddler's Revenge and California Screamin (among others). I'm pretty sure (I haven't really tried) that you could probably touch the ground or get close to doing it on Cobra at SFDK.

While it does look like a pretty cool ride concept, its capacity looks pretty crappy.

I'm not liking that last picture at all. The turn leading into the straight away is unbanked. That means that it only has that small section, which includes a bump, to speed up. That supposed "airtime" hill doesn't look like it's gonna deliver. However, I could be totally wrong.

I wonder if they're going to be able to secure the wheels onto the track with this more precise technology? That would really enhance the ride experience.

I vaguely remember reading something about B&M hyper restraints having 2 ratchets as a fail-safe to prevent the restraint from coming loose. Can anyone back me up on this?

Those are some amazing pictures, man. I'm surprised you didn't post the one of Goliath, Colossus, and Superman from the parking lot. That one is freaking amazing! I really loved that picture of Viper and Tatsu at sunset the best though. You're a damn fine photographer.
