  1. How does SFMM manage to one up themselves for ERT every year?! God, even though I am going to the Knott's portion tomorrow, I am extremely jealous.
  2. ^That's just what the parks want you to think.
  3. That tall white twisty one at Magic Mountain's Hurricane Harbor (excuse my lack of name). Oddly enough, not breathing is NOT fun.
  4. HAHAHAHA my friend went to it last night and said that she and her dad walked out of it at intermission!
  5. WRONG! (It's called a strata) My nerdiest moment?...Trying to get pictures of companies' names on their wheels (I.E Arrow, Intamin, Vekoma). I also film a lot, that's pretty geeky. I'll have to see what happens at WCB on Sunday.
  6. That would be the Cartoon Network show: Brain Rush.
  7. Awesome, you got the pictures working! Pretty nice PTR, I remember going there years ago! ...too bad I didn't get to ride anything. Who'd you see at spring training? And you should post descriptions and links to all of your trip reports in the first post.
  8. That last picture is worthy of a caption contest.
  9. ^Don't diss Termy. (Or the ride's ability to go 102 and pull 6 g's. Those are TOTALLY realistic numbers)
  10. I read a post on Westcoaster saying that Xcelerator started testing yesterday (Sat. March 13). Confirm or deny, anyone?
  11. Well Arrow's rides are pretty outdated. Chances are, if Arrow were still around, they'd be like S&S's modern rides. I really wish S&S would make a mega looper though, that'd be a great way to show off the Arrow inside of them. Edit: Woooo! My post count is the year of American Independence!
  12. Oops! I forgot to talk about Ninja. I also love that ride a lot, it's one of the more relaxing-yet-thrilling coasters they have at SFMM. Night rides on it are pretty cool, but it's never as dark as I wish. Still a great ride, and a classic. Arrow really did good work at SFMM.
  13. This is what happens when you don't heed my word!
  14. The first time I tried the Arrow Magic Seat, I was pretty amazed, but then I tried again, and it felt maybe just a tad bit better than other rows. Viper is pretty fine now, though, just hold yourself still by pressing on the restraints or whatever, and you should be fine! And Scream can die! Although it does beat most of those listed. Riddler's is awesome, Revo is a classic (but sucks), Viper is super fun, and Goldrusher is good for the littleuns and gives a pretty good night ride in the back.
  15. I applied! I couldn't do it through that website though since there's an age limit of 18. So I did it through the show's site instead. Hopefully the actual show doesn't have an age limit...and if it does, whatever.
  16. Awesome, be sure to tell what rides you're working on!
  17. ^ Just wait for the extended edition when it comes out on Blu-Ray/DVD JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST KIDDING! Thanks!
  18. The thing in the middle is like a nut guard to keep you from sliding out. That piece that you're looking at is kinda similar to the bottom piece of a B&M seat:
  19. My favorite parts are 2:03 and 3:13 haha But thanks to both of you!
  20. For the sake of avoiding one of the most boring and pointless debates in history, I think I'm just going to agree to disagree
  21. You do realize that they're the EXACT same ride style, right? They both have flume portions too! Just because one has an elevator, and the other two lift hills doesn't mean they're in totally different leagues... Pilgrims Plunge: Shoot The Rapids: Notice the similarities? These two things honestly aren't THAT far apart.
  22. Source When I saw this article, the first thing I thought was TPR
  23. This is why you're the best! I can't wait, just a little more than one week!
