  1. Holiday World seems to be really tight knit with the Gravity Group. I doubt they'd betray them.
  2. ^^Take it from a Knott's visitor: A single armed S&S swing would NOT be a good idea. Since it has such a low capacity, they need to charge for it to keep the lines down...unfortunately, due to the price, it has no line at all. Ever.
  3. I actually also loved the opening ceremonies. There was nothing balls out crazy, but it was just all really solid and really cool. It was the coolest use of projections that I have ever seen.
  4. ^Yep, you can walk in there. IDK if it's officially available, it probably is, but I walk through there all the time. I think it's kind of a safer way to get into the park since there isnt a sidewalk along the main driveway.
  5. ^Kennywood is getting something this year though! I don't think they'd have enough money for another ride.
  6. ^With the lines that thing gets, I have a feeling it's gonna be around for a looooooong time haha
  7. ^S&S made X2's trains. S&S also made their own 4d coaster, so I doubt getting parts for X2 is really that hard.
  8. It's gonna go on the front side of the Calico Mine Ride at Knott's.
  9. ^ That guy's such a douche!
  10. If you're a fan of GCI on the Facebook thing, then you've most likely seen them posting CGI images of some new terrain based design that they're working on. If not, here are the pictures so far: *see below* If any of you are super familiar with terrain and wanna take a stab at where this is going, then go for it! So far, it looks like it could be GCI's greatest layout to date (including you, Prowler)! Become a fan of GCI to follow the updates sooner: http://www.facebook.com/index.php?lh=88db92d317b8ea1970ee91ef6d45b413!/GreatCoasters?ref=ts Picture of the terrain. Lift hill. With those iron beams, the ride mayyy cross under the lift hill there. A new turnaround. Their latest picture that was just posted. More progress: 2/14/10
  11. Has anyone ever attempted to play the solo section in Coltraine's Giant Steps? It's a doozy.
  12. Ninja is pretty awesome at night. It's not quite as dark as one would hope, but totally worthy of a night ride.
  13. I heard the inventor of the frisbee died...
  14. No you wouldn't. Awwww, you called my bluff! Rats. ^Scream can die for all I care. *insert "Scream would be good at any other park" response here*
  15. I would camp out and protest if they ever thought of removing Viper. I'm its number one fan! Now that it doesn't really kill you anymore, it's actually quite enjoyable. I prefer the layout of Viper over B&M loopers, it has huge amounts of positive force, negative force (in the front going into the mcbr), and hang time. If only Viper were totally smooth...
  16. No, I hate cheese. Does Indy really hate snakes?
  17. Prowler is so good, it can't be ranked with wooden coasters.
  18. ...Where's Prowler?!!!!!
  19. Trick question. Does not compute. Are donkeys really hotter than females?
  20. Why do I get the feeling that the slightest wind would result in literally soaking the crap out of people?
  21. As I was checking my facebook, I noticed a post from Six Flags saying that their blog is now live. The URL for this blog can be found here: http://www.sixflags.com/national/footernav/sixflagsblog.aspx First Post: What are your thoughts on this move in the social media market?
  22. ^Did you go on the 22nd? That was the day before I went, and it sounded like a terrible day. And I don't get why everyone's calling for another GCI or another woodie, we just got one. People think that Termy is just Psyclone with a new name, so why would they invest in another wooden coaster so soon?! Put a spinning coaster in Free Fall's old spot and Batman's overflow queue and you've got a decent winner.
  23. Did anyone see Andrew's "serious hat?"
