  1. How competitive is it to get a job at HHN? I'm guessing they only hire 18+, but what are some of the other requirements? What percentage of people that audition actually get a job? Which position is harder to get a job as, Mazes or Scare Zones?
  2. It would be more soothing than anything. I'd love Paul Frees to narrate my throne time.
  3. Finally getting to take my brother to Kings Island; our night ride on the Beast together is something I will never forget. My first night ride on it was one of the highlights of my life at his age, and getting to spend a day out there together capped off by THE Best Night Ride in the World was more special than getting to ride any credit in a faraway land.
  4. ^Isn't that all just recycled video from last year's Star Tours opening video?
  5. When they switched out Vault for Mello Yello in the Freestyle Machines they lost a couple of points in my book, but Peach Grape Fanta is where it's at!
  6. Two more quick questions: 1. Which slides are being removed? Are they the first ones you come upon on the right when entering through the main Splashin' Safari gate? 2. Will there be a logo released of Rhino wearing 2013 Glasses for New Years?
  7. ^Just to avoid confusion, tomorrow is the 25th.
  8. Anne Hathaways Stunt Double drove the Bat Pod into an IMAX camera on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. The second Nolan Batman film to do so.
  9. Offerings at Holiday World not enough to fill a day? That's the first I've heard someone characterize Holiday World as a half-day park. Keep in mind they only have 3 major roller coasters, and there is a severe lack of large flats. What they do have is top-notch, though From the Park Index
  10. This story has exploded. Just saw a bit about it in TIME magazine.
  11. Netherworld Haunted Hoochie Erebus The Dent Schoolhouse Headless Horseman Eastern State Penitentiary Sinister Pointe Winchester Fright Nights Cutting Edge The Bates Motel And for sure Blackout NYC Basically the Haunts you always see on the Travel Channel and on all of the Top 10 lists.
  12. Can that guy please narrate my life? I almost fell asleep he was so soothing.
  13. Hmm, all seems fine and dandy, but I'm a little confused about the three smaller slides. Aren't they pretty similar to Ottorongo? They aren't that popular are they? Everything else sounds awesome! Digging the other water slide.
  14. Always fun to see another update from a land far away. Thanks for posting! I spy a Hidden Jack!
  15. Harsh... I don't think it's a bad idea for Florida; it's what the Annual Passholders have been clamoring for, for years. They want to throw money at Disney, they just need a reason, and this should be it. Good on ya Disney!
  16. If making easy money is greedy, then shame on me for working at a Coffee Shop.
  17. Why? Who wouldn't rather have a well themed indoor coaster? I'd take something as small as Space Fantasy over the biggest B&M or Intamin on the market.
  18. Five Guys is great, but Smashburger is Outstanding! If you like your burger with serious toppings, this is the place. They have about 15 different burgers, including a build your own, as well as a myriad of chicken sandwiches. And their rosemary sweet potato fries are to die for! Best Burger: Smashburger with Swiss, Avocado and a Fried Egg Fries: Smashburger's Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries Best Shakes: Anyone that even puts Steak and Shake in the same class as Fudrucker's is crazy! Malts>Shakes everytime.
  19. My Top 10 1. RotM (USF) 2. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster 3. Flight of Fear 4. Space Mountain (DL) 5. Space Mountain (WDW) 6. Fire In the Hole 7. The Dark Knight (SFGAm) 8. Blazing Fury 9. The Underground 10. Disaster Transport
  20. I think it's pretty iffy with Valleyfair. Some rides like Excalibur and Wild Thing letting you, while others like Thunder Canyon and Mad Mouse usually don't. This probably depends on how loading is set up, making sure they don't have to send empty trains out to get you your ride. EDIT: Holiday World does.
  21. Seven Dwarves is indeed 2014. KD is bringing in some new rides for their redone PSnoops next year.
  22. Until they build a coaster over the Grand Canyon, yep that looks to be the best!
  23. Hmm, I wonder if this has to do with TPR favorite Jeff Tucker not writing the script this year... Sad to hear though, hopefully the other new shows this year make up for it.
