  1. What's up with the extra support beam on only one side of the wheel?
  2. Anyone been listening to the new Orlando United Radio podcast? Seems to be the best site out there for Universal rumors right now and the hosts don't hold back. Only three episodes so far, but lots of Potter and CityWalk news already.
  3. Olaf's Summer Song from Frozen, that 'ish bangin'!
  4. Was hesitant when I bought it, but I love my S4 to death!
  5. Hmm, Smashburgers vs Chipotle Por que no los dos?
  6. Ahh, this is killing me. I'm normally a movie fiend, and would have seen Mr. Banks, American Hustle, and Anchorman today. These stupid $12 movie tickets in Orlando are killing me. Last movie I did see though was Into the Furnace, better than I thought, but not as good as it should have been considering the cast. 7/10
  7. This is an awesome idea! I hope you do some CS in the game and with your model. Would love to see some tunnels and maybe even some rock work with a pool of water.
  8. Some awesome looking recreations! Can't wait to see Gatekeeper all finished up.
  9. I've been putting NoLimits off for so long now, I neeeed me some NL2!
  10. Anyone else really not a fan of One Ocean? I love Blue Horizons, the coasters, and JTA, but when it comes to One Ocean, if I wanted to watch people picking up trash on a giant video monitor, I would have stayed home.
  11. Outlaw Run jumped to my favorite wood coaster this year. Maverick still holds top steel.
  12. A shop and a counter-service restaurant don't make much of a village. I have a hard time believing they won't have a Honeyduke's even Zonko's.
  13. VF has definitely been in the habit of removing rides without immediate replacements (Chaos, Tot Spot), so it would no surprise if IMAX's spot sits empty next year.
  14. Because they probably figured people are more likely to drop that kind of money on the ears during their once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
  15. You're lucky you were even allowed to enter in small groups, the last Saturday before Halloween. Most Haunt events have to start conga lining weeks before that.
  16. I think a large-scale thrilling coaster, and a waterpark over haul would really round out Valleyfair's ride collection. It still wouldn't be on par with the larger parks around the country, but adding a decent-sized inverting coaster would really put their collection at the top of the "Under 10 Coasters" club. That being said, I think the water park is the area that needs the attention for next year. MN is really lacking overall when it comes to waterparks. There isn't a decent outdoor waterpark from Minneapolis to the Wisconsin Dells, and the Water Park of America near MOA has a pretty lackluster collection of slides. VF's current waterpark is probably the poorest of any park I've been too. It's by far the worst in the Cedar Fair chain with it's limited attractions. Now granted it will never be the sprawling park waterpark that you'll find at KI or WoF, but it's been pretty much the same since it opened. VF's Soak City only consists of a single body slide tower, vertical speed slides, 4-person raft slide, lazy river, brief adventure river, wavepool, and the worst kids area I've ever seen. We've got community pools with better features for kids. The first thing Soak City needs, is to replace the kids area. MIA put in a great looking kids area a few years ago, which would fit perfect in VF's IMAX theatre location. I've done some measuring on Google Maps, and ProSlide provides dimensions for all of their slides on their website. A decent sized climbing structure could fit here, with plenty of room for lounge chairs.
  17. This is the exact same slide tower that Worlds of Fun got this year. I had the chance to ride all of the slides there back on July 4th and I was very disappointed in almost all of them. The constructor slide is an absolutely horrible design. The majority of the slide is very slow and even going through the extra tight turns you only gain a little bit of speed, not enough to make the ride worth it. I definitely gave this ride a thumbs down and thought it was the worst in the entire complex. the other tube slides were actually fairly decent giving great airtime over the tall drops. The trap door slides are the worst of the three types of trap door slides I've ridden (Scorpions Tail at Noah's Ark an AquaLoop and the Banzai Pipeline slides at Six Flags Americabeing the others). The slides never really gain any speed and weren't any more thrilling than normal body slides. The general public will eat this addition up, although in terms of actual water park additions from someone that really likes water parks, I think they could have done a lot better.
  18. There's a difference between quick changes of direction and shuffling, and that's coming from a huge fan of both rides! I don't think anyone is blaming HW for the way The Voyage runs, they have done a lot more work on the ride than say Mt. O has done on Hades. It's just the nature of the design. I think people are just hoping HW and TGG can come up with a way to get the ride to run a little smoother, and obviously the Timberliners were not it.
