  1. Ehh, they've got plenty of room to work with around the power lines. They could easily fit another slide tower there, and I'd be willing to be that the Tornado would have fit between the two kiddie areas. All is forgiven though, as they have two of the best slide towers in the business. "Awesome Aussie Twister" and the Pineapple slides are both top notch and keep you really disoriented.
  2. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would pay their hard earned cash to ride anything at LA, except maybe the "salt and pepper shaker." Their coasters suck, their flats suck, and their ops are creepy. Not to mention the six laps we had to make on Meteor because they couldn't get the station brakes to grab. Please tell me you did the Haunted House. Biggest WTF I've done at a park! Just awful, and the farthest thing from ADA.
  3. Especially if they're doing Play Testing this far out, I wouldn't expect the meet and greet to be open until they can get the whole BatB area ready for soft openings. I'm more excited for some Be Our Guest soft openings! I'd have to imagine they would want to test out the counter service to table service change over before they open it officially, but maybe they'll use CM's for testing.
  4. I know a certain marine life park in Central Florida that is worth at least that much
  5. Does it really matter? It all boils down to the fact that Disney wants to make money, and with this drink they will. trigger "Mugs>Cones" nel
  6. This! The new Wavepool they added is in the middle of nowhere, and the hike back to the Tornado is a marathon.
  7. I know this is kinda old and I'm not sure how realistic you were trying to go, but I may have spotted a few discrepancies in your layout, lol.
  8. While I respectfully disagree with you, your description is what makes the ride great. There was an effect where some Comsignathus would "jump" over your car. That said, yes Indy is the better ride, and I'm looking forward to the improvements they make! Hopefully we see some sort of interactivity added to the already awesome queue.
  9. Woah, buddy you raise those expectations of Dinosaur right back up. It's by far the scariest ride in WDW, and is one of my top five favorite rides in Florida. There is a very basic story, and the animatronics might not look as good as they used to, but dang nabbit the fact that half the ride is pitch black stands out. Yes it might not be as good as it once was, and the intensity may have been toned down, but if you like a good scare, definitely give it a shot!
  10. My god! That ginger Dementor appears to be sucking out those poor ladies' souls! My favorite report was this last one. I have a soft spot for Adventureland. I truly believe if the park added one or two world class rides, they could easily be thrown into the mix of parks like Holiday World and Knoebels. The setting and the the charm is all there. Plus their water park is amazing! And that rotor, I love it when they actually let the floor drop, much better than the slow lowering you get on most.
  11. With that I think you're wrong. I'm willing to bet money that a lot of people are thinking it's getting taken down when they walk by. People aren't stupid enough to not notice, but they are enough to jump to unnecessary conclusions.
  12. Orphan Rocker is just full on weird. Cable lift towards the end of the ride, a rather shady past, and check out those trains! Now, tilting trains are nothing new in the railway industry, but this is the only instance where I have heard of them placed on a roller coaster, bar suspended coasters. Isn't the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at WDW gonna have similar trains? It's Hong Kong counterpart does too, but they both have more modern technology and aren't gonna gut you from the inside out and make your medicine and goo spill out. Yah, no they don't. They are typical Mine Car trains.
  13. Great pics man, some really cool angles! You may want to tone down the color boost just a bit. Some of them seem just a little over done. Try re-uploading a few with less color.
  14. May I nominate this as the dumbest quote of the day? We're talking about Kings Island here, apparent number 1 kids park in the world... I think they are fine with the kids rides they have. A big coaster with a 42" height requirement? Now that's what they need.
  15. Top Siders pretty much every day.
  16. The only proper way to ride should be to sit down and enjoy. There shouldn't be any work done to properly ride a coaster just so it can be enjoyable. Why though? I think most people would prefer the aggressive forces that force you to ride defensively.
  17. That's where bolts in the ground have been spotted, and where management has been seen surveying. It has been all but confirmed that Autos are on their way out. Don't look for the Go-Karts to last that much longer either though.
  18. Hey there dude! Last time I checked the Dino Party wasn't going into the Go-Kart spot, but rather into Antique Autos. As I'm sure you're aware this spot has some actual differences in terrain and enough shrubbery to get the blood flowing. Don't know how scary Rexy would be in the middle of an open field. Look for Picnic Cove to be changed around a bit for next year as well...
  19. When you buy a Six Flags souvenir cup, you automatically get free refills for the remainder of that day.
  20. Guys, it would be a much better investment to remove the mini golf which is closed and condemned, the go-karts, and the never used amphitheater. This is a much better plot of land, more central in the park, and visible from outside the park.
  21. It would fit well, but I don't see how that would help round out the park. Inside Wild Things turnaround would be a better fit anyways.
