  1. Though MM's own Coaster Day may have failed, Roller Coaster Day 2012 presented by "freddiew" is sure to be a hit. This may be the only event at MM this year that rivals WCB in terms of number of attendees. If you haven't yet checked out their videos, they are one of the most popular YouTub e channels, putting out awesome FX filled shorts (PS. If a mod could edit in the video, I gave up. Thanks!)
  2. Waited 45 minutes in a 100 person line for TMNT at Nick U the Saturday after it opened. We timed a cycle at 6 minutes with two ops. Keep in mind there are only 12 seats to check. They would let the riders exit the platform before they would yell out the rules to the next 12 people in line. Then the scanning of wristbands and checking to make sure all loose articles were stowed away. The worst part by far though was the fact that they were not allowing guests to pull their own restraints down. This coupled with the fact that they only had one of the ops checking restraints easily tripled restraint check time. Not a great time.
  3. El Paso, Texas Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Augusta, Georgia Charleston, South Carolina Nashville, Tennessee Jacksonville, Florida Atlanta, Georgia Fort Worth, Texas Little Rock, Arkansas Houston, Texas Orlando, Florida Dallas, Texas Knoxville, Tennessee Tampa, Florida Austin, Texas San Antonio, Texas Memphis, Tennessee Baton Rouge, Louisiana West Palm Beach, Florida Oakland, California Norfolk, Virginia San Diego, California Orange County, California Long Beach, California Texas, WTF? Lot's of theme park cities though, I guess.
  4. So Dragon Khan once used to look menacing and B.A. Now we're stuck with Wiggles: THE RIDE...
  5. A night ride into the woods on Diamondback is another must!
  6. As unbelievably catchy as that song was, I'm pretty sure Stache Glasses were funny on the first 10 Hipsters I saw wearing them.
  7. ^Minus Tron. More like Mad T Party without any of it's good stuff.
  8. ^If you know that they weren't rubber bands that he matched up
  9. I'm just gonna have faith with what you're saying. This will make the half hour extra waits for the front rows not seem so bad. Also, I loved the tiered pricing. It's only gonna be about $300 for me and 4 friends who are road-tripping it down for a couple days this summer. We were expecting to spend more than that just for one day. For us, it's also going to do FastPASS was designed for, keep us out of the lines and buying more stuff. We'll probably actually do some sit-down meals not having to worry about lines. Might even go to the beach or God Forbid Soak City. Great move CP!
  10. At SFGAmerica they told us this as well, but they mentioned that they do fine on water rides. Apparently the Q-Bots are water-resistant, not water-proof. They did advise us that submerging them would not be light on the wallet though.
  11. Yep, they're just gonna look at the screen, see how many people the Flash Pass is good for, count the number of people riding, see that they match, and let you on. As long as you have the same number of people riding as your FP shows, everything is within the confines of the rules.

  13. You can say that again. 6 minutes cycles with 12 pp cycle. We waited about 45 minutes twice in about a 100 foot line. Expect to wait at least that long for a full queue (really not that long of a line, length wise). Nick U is def not known for their motivated employees. Also, to keep it from flipping at all, you just have to keep your hands off the "wings". Not to difficult really.
  14. I donated to Jason Black from WoF, the lowest earner from the lowest earning park (besides my own haha). Do it for the Little Guy!
  15. ^Just so you know dude, GKTW Village is the location that the Make-A-Wish kids and their families stay at when a child "Wishes" to go to Disney World, (or elsewhere in Orlando). There are about 6 of us who will be signing up for the Valleyfair! event soon. Full details have been given, with the ERT being extended from just the five hours on Wild Thing and Lunch, to both of those plus Breakfast and two hours on Renegade! Really looking forward to participating again this year! EDIT: What are some of the prizes other parks are giving away? Valleyfair! giving two tickets and two Fast Lanes for first, four tickets and a Cabana for second, and a GKTW Prize-Pack for third.
  16. -Love for Renegade, only one that I've ever gotten Ejector. -Prowler had some good pops last year during night ERT. -Thunderhead is also quite good.
  17. We only had about 8 people at Valleyfair! last year, but it was still a great event. The lunch was decent (I'm sure it varies by park) and the T-Shirt was high quality. If you are even thinking about doing the event, seriously go for it! Plus with smaller crowds, you have a better chance to win the prizes.
  18. That would be insane! Would drive down just for some rides that first weekend.
  19. Wild Thing on the other hand... Whole 'Nother Story!
  20. Glad to say I understood the report. Chris Nolan would be very proud of this report! Thanks a ton for posting.
  21. So the online game ended. I know I was in the Top 100, but the site is allowing anymore log-ins, and I haven't received an email or Facebook message about what to do next. Anyone else heard anything?
  22. I'm sure their other Mega would be "Raging" if they put another one in, wocka, wocka!
