  3. Nice start to your visit in "our" Theme Park, Derek. Lookin' great so far, what you've posted. And hey - sometimes they have sexy divers dive off that 'plaster mountain' into the pool of water below... Oh yeah - and sometimes, women dive off there, too. (hah) ~ ~ ~ Nicole! Congrats on your "WIN" in the UK Tour 'Big Mike Contest'! I'll save a Caramel AERO bar for ya in June, lol. (Yeah, yeah I know, she just advanced a level - bite me, beer boi. ) ~ ~ ~ Looking forward to more Canada Action Pix from you gois, mm'k?
  4. First shot: Double Rainbow!
  5. I'm just happy as punch that "The MoJo" is now gone. And that the three couples left for The Big Finish are a great mix-up. But - GO HIPPIES GO !!!
  6. ~ ~ ~ Aries Born in The Year of The Snake SsssssssssssssssRAM!
  7. I like that shot from BTM. Great how ToT just sticks up, above the tree line, heh heh. Great close-up shots of the construction! Thanks for sharing them.
  8. Yes, the coaster will still do a bit of a 'dip' from right to left, in the front of the show building, and then be back inside for the "dark ride" portion, before The Coaster Part happens... You'll just have to wait until the base foundation is finished and then the walls and vertical construction starts. Then you'll be able to see everything more clearly. Basically, all you have to do is review review review. Startingf around Page 4 of this thread, with the schematics of it all, etc. If you go to www.dlrp.fr (click on the British Flag up there; upper right corner for English translation)you will get great continual updates on how the attraction is progressing.
  9. Since I am a Disneyland Paris Castle FREAK - I especially liked this (see below) photo of the MK Castle and it's "Magic Mirror" in front, showing juuuuust a glimpse of... My Castle!!! Great trip reports Soren. Good to see that you and your work buddies are having great "off-time" from your work at World Showcase. Thanks for sharing the pix and comments. See??? There it is!!! My Castle there.... Only Really PINK one of the bunch, lolol.
  10. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Glad to read and SEE you all had a great time there - not to mention The Ride itself, lolol. I still hate you all!
  11. ^ That's what I thought too. Fuji-Q. It really looked like to me like there was a shot of the new X coaster in the preview too! Certainly looked like it, dead on, as a distant side shot. Could've been another coaster there, I suppose. And that also looks like the "route" of the journey. Thailand to Japan. Japan to "The North," somewhere cold and iccccccccy. (brrrr) Then it all ends in the good old U.S. of A. as usual, heh heh. Two-hour Finale next week guys. And OMG!!!!!!!!! Who came first after all that.......eating?
  12. I just recently discovered, that I love riding the coaster here like a bucking bronco. Mucho fun over the small bunny hop airtimes.... yes! Am definitely going to try this new 'style' out on the UK-TPR Tour in June. Ride'em, Hippie! (That means I voted: one hand down, holding on for dear life -hee- one hand high and waving like it's the meanest brute on the woodie 'range'...)
  13. Oooooooooo. FOLIAGE SHOTs eh, it's the right colour... With this post I want to lay claim to all future photos showing lovely landscaping and....stuff. I mean, Derek's got his Vertical Loops Shots, hmmm? I mean, HMMM??? (with growing desperation and anxiety flushes...) Please direct all your lovely (and lush, tee hee) forests and (uh) swamp 'shots' my way. Thankew verhy muuuch. Great PTR Tom. Ooo! Ooo! 30+ days to go till Stealth! I am Procurer of Foliage Shots! (sigh...)
  14. Oooooooooooooooooooh Chris. Guess we can wait, whimper snivel tremble sniffle for a bit.
  15. ^ Well - for those of us who haven't caught tonight's episode yet - will watch out for that, mmm'k? GO TYLER/BJ GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (And having said the above - I'll check in after 2100 PST here on the west coast of...)
  16. ~ ~ ~ ~ Thankyou For Smoking 8/10 Great film. Funny and on the button about lobbyists and the tobacco industry covering it's....um....butt? Nobody dies (onscreen), or gets blown up. No massive EPIC SCALE screen stuff. Just a well-written screenplay and some excellent actors putting in their time, showing a rather freaky mainstream part of the American Landscape. Heck, even the Marlboro Man shows up!(Sam Elliot...mmmmmm.) Good film.
  17. Considering what Mulholland Madness (DCA) and Primeval Whirl (WDW-AK) are actually like, this is a totally different ride experience that the imagineers have dreamed and designed for us. All enclosed, with indoor 'underwater' effects? A pre-coaster dark ride part? With an outdoor 'small dip' for the approaching guests to see? No, I think that this will be a much better deal for the lucky DLP-goers, than what the other two parks got. Much better. (P.S. If you look on PAGE 4 of this thread, there's 2 schematic layouts of the attraction, where it fits into it's building, and where it fits with the other attractions {Cars, Carpets} in the new section of the park.) (Edit with the P.S.)
  18. The mind boggles at the mere thought....
  19. Celestial Seasoning's Peach Apricot Honeybush Tea! "Caffeine Free" too!
  20. Sad, sad to see there. Is the park a total write-off, or are they going to really try and get it back up and running....eventually?
  21. I think the more I see suspended car coasters like Vortex, Top Gun at Kings Island and the belated XLR8 at Astro World... I just always liked those kinds of coasters a lot, just enjoying the sensation of flying by in a vehicle with the rail above you. Very artsy retro "The Jetsons" I always felt, heh heh. Thanks for your Opening Day Report, Paul.
  22. Have a fun overnight and morning everybody!
  23. Great TR, Julie! But first... BBQ --- what? (on La Menu there...) That's way too generic a term for a sandwich and/or.....whatever it is, LOL. The Rumbler looks like a great addition to coaster lovers' itineraries this year and on...
  24. Wow. Memories.... Way back in (ulp) 1963, I got my first trip to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm AND a 'known' add-on to P.O.P. I was 10, but savvy enough to already know about Pacfic Ocean Park. Had the flyer and all the information... But - for some reason - and this was around Easter of all times - the park was closed. I was devastated. Crying. It took a round of miniature golf to help me "get over" that disappointment. And it took me another 12 years to get back to California, but alas, P.O.P. was no more... Thanks for the link - that was a hoot. And OMG - Emmett Kelly! Retro Famous Clown Flashback!
  25. A cuppa Tetley tea. Two sugar. Bit'o milk.
