Bumping, for current interests' sake. Anybody got new pix to share of ToT construction in Paris? -
Paris Tower of Terror
Nrthwnd replied to LingLing13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Could happen if they get their way with speeding up the construction dates, hmm? I am not-too-seriously hoping that maybe, just "maybe" there will be this wild opportunity to get in on a soft opening of Crush' Coaster by the end of... April. Yeah, yeah I know. Rumors I had read about ToT was that they might try to get it finished and running by... October. You never know, hmmm? -
I'll be (GASP) 104.

This is a very nice shot. Looks great, even though the place would never be open for anybody to ride it during a snowfall, heh heh. And there must be more coaster and snow shots from other members also, hmmm? Yes? Have seen a few vids "on site," of R&E in their Japan Snow Coastering adventures, LOL. Very trippy. Next time when we get snow next year, I must remember to trudge over to Coaster at Playland and take pix too, if I am able to. Thanks for sharing the photo. It looks great! -
^ I remember the fans. But I was in the front car that went backwards first. Then forwards.... I dunno. Confused? You betcha..... Anyway, I do remember the wind effect, and the cars shaking at one point in it... And the 'taking off' in the opposite direction felt odd... but rattlingly endearing, LOLOL! An older ride that's definitely seen better days (and years) but is trying it's darndest to keep up with everybody else in the park. Means well, but still confusing to figure out, hmmm? Just an observe.

^ You'll love the whole setup of Frontierland and how Phantom Manor fits so nicely in with the 'landscape,' heh heh. Overlooking Big Thunder "Island". -

Was. Was a great attraction. From what I read and saw, online. Been closed for a year or so now? Too bad - was hoping we'd be doing it on the Japan Tour this Sept. -

Great continuing report! The Pirates pix are a bit 'dark' but hey - you are showing better indoor pix than I usually get, myself. I have stayed in Paris itself, every visit so far, and get the Carte Orange weekly transit pass for the RER and Paris subway (five zone needed) to go back and forth to the parks. Takes about 40-50 minutes from central Paris, once you figure out your usual 'route' to get there. This April's visit is going to be easy, with only one station and immediate RER access available. Sweet! And you have the pass for travelling to other sights in the city too. I am splitting where-to-stay with another, and we're renting an apartment thru a rental agency, for about 71 Euros a night. Full kitchen and bathroom, near the Pompideu Center. We're hoping there's a view of "Eiffel" from one of our fifth floor windows, heh heh. Tickets still have to be bought, but I am planning to buy a Fantasy Annual pass to cover (and immediately pays for) several days visit in two weeks' time. David isn't interested in the parks as much as I am, so he's going to check out the immediate area for food buying, local essentials needed, the museums and other sights, etc. And I notice the PanoraMagique was 'flying' there in your second set of pix! Did you get to ride it? We really want to do it, on our visit. Looking forward to more from your trip. -

T'would be nice if this attraction came through "the rest of the Commonwealth?" (HINT HINT for Canada) Just a suggest. -

Weigh-in Day, this morning. And - lost another lb. this past week!

I remember in 1963 (!) when they were actually thinking of closing Disneyland for the day because of.... rain. And that was when the park was already closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, too. Knotts was closed Wed. and Thurs. during the week. And that's how those two parks 'got along' way back when, heh heh. Hope Robb got to work 'okay' LOL.

Thanks for the TR. Looks like you had a great time there. ***Pizza Planet PIZZA BURGERS!*** Always wanted to get one of those, but they were closed 'off-season' last times we were there. Not for this coming late April though, I hope. Yes! And you stayed at the Sequoia, too! That is the hotel onsite I would really want to stay at. Thanks for sharing the trip. -
No. Are you easily tickled?

Tonight/today I listened/am listening to... Aboriginal Voices Radio (Canada) for the first time ever... ...which has some really nice original music on it. Who knew?

Too late to remove! Hah! Answer to ^^ - YES! I figure if a company can't make a decent orginal flavor like vanila, then - what's the point? Do you drink milk every day? (EDIT: And on Page 369 too! My random 3's....perfect!)

Here's a BUMP dee Bump! DLP Studios' Tower is looking great here in this pic by Joel, thru wdsfans.com --- but I really like the way a 'Partners' statue already in the Studios should turn into quite the photo op, from what I can see here now. Not exactly a "castle shot," but the new "Castle of The 21st Century," heh heh. It's going to be quite the Photo Op, once everything's in place and the fences come down, hmm? -
One of the members here is named ... 'toast'?
