  1. ^ I rode it in Mexico too, during the first TPR Mexico Tour, in 2013! Soooooo awesome, I know several of us rode it again and again, after our ERT time, when the park was open to the gp. We queued up with everybody else to enjoy it again and again. Same with the shuttle loop coaster. Several times. Lovely thing. TPR 2013 Mexico Tour.
  2. ^ Read my mind, hah! Seems like The Place to Be, when 2021 rolls around. Would be very cool to be there during it`s first season.
  3. I just won $25 TWICE on 2 separate Poker Lotto tickets, drawn this week! Two separate draws, but DoubleBOING! So, trying for Bigger Money, end of the week. $tay tuned.
  4. This just in! There was a complete recording of Sondheim's much revered, but doomed (it bombed on Broadway) musical, "Anyone Can Whistle" in London. The recording was done in the late 1990's. But wasn't released until......now. Go figure. Show biz. Juicy TRIVIA of it all is... John Barrowman? He's Capt. Jack Harkness in the Doctor Who series! And the father of "I can't remember who" in the recently ended ARROW tv series. And I never knew he could sing, until recently, truth! Available eventually on Amazon, or directly from https://www.jayrecords.com/ And Sondheim himself, loved this recording of the show, it is reported!
  5. ^ 'Tis the Season.... for unexpected stuff to happen. All things considered. And "Polyp" to me, sounds like some kind of skin "thing" I do not want to touch! (Even though I am pretty sure it has something to do with seaweed or kelp, etc.)
  6. I repeat, it`s an Indiana Beach Miracle!
  7. ^ Don't think so. The Mario Kart Ride has it's exit thru a gift shop on the lower level. There's also the extension spot on the right of it, and that's supposed to be for the Donkey Kong Coaster. Other than that, I haven't seen any indication of a separate exit from the Land. Of course, I could be wrong, and they're just not revealing everything there.... including a separate exit.
  8. Yes! That's the ride I was trying to remember a comparison to! Rode it back in 1996... way back when. Not exactly the same, but still. Freeked us out, at the speed and intensity of the thing.
  9. To me, it looks like a smaller less spread out version of Disneyland's Toontown....with the entry and exit being one and the same. I wonder if they're going to have to deal with "crowd control" jamming into that corner of the park.... ...Unless they've announced a Timed kind of entry system, already?
  10. That's what I immediately thought, when I saw the artwork!
  11. I do not know Josh. But I certainly remember (most of) all his great posts here at TPR. I wish him the best in healing health and happiness, as well as his family and close friends.
  12. p.s. ........ Vixen's Turkey Burger...........<gaaaaaaaaaaaaaadrool>
  13. Interesting that their mascot Kenny, was played by (at least) three young women back then. And their hair! If that isn't the 80's, then I don't know the 80's!
  14. Happy 60th Birthday, Calico Mine Ride! Me and my mom rode it in 1963, during my first California visit, at age 10.
  15. wrs28330 thank you for the great tour of your drive-thru! And such a deal, too! Our drive-thru up here in Playland(PNE) is $40 for 4 persons or less per car, or $49 for 5 or more per car. It runs from 4 to 10pm on specific days. And entry times are divided into half-hour entries. I think you got a great deal there, for such a big park, and so beautifully decorated, to drive through.
  16. A mini Coke!
  17. Interesting that they've put some English dialogue here and there. Very lush sets, too. Thanks for posting the video.
  18. In regards to the black and white interior photo of the Cosmic: Rewind show bldg. in the video... In the back there, it looks like the track that the backwards launch comes up to. The "Share" arrow is pointing to it. Then it straightens out, in that long straight section I see, the coach turns around to face forward and on it goes! Just an observation. No real proof of this. But it all looks great, what I can make out of it!
  19. ^ Very cool, I say! And those cookies, too!
  20. We're catching up on all the Schitt's Creek episodes. And I am totally amused that suddenly EVERYBODY is freeking out, discovering that Catherine O'Hara (playing Moira Rose) was ALSO the mother in "Home Alone", too. AND the mother in "Beetlejuice." And we'll be sure to watch THE PROM, Ryan Murphy's film of the Broadway musical about a student not being allowed to take her date, another female student, to their prom. It debuts on Netflix Friday, Dec.11. With James Corden, Andrew Rannells, Meryl Streep to name a few.
  21. ^ Totally in agreement, with the above statement.
